00:02 Hey Vogue, it's Pink Pantheress
00:06 and today we're going through my skincare/makeup routine.
00:10 I wash my face with La Roche-Posay.
00:12 My friend told me once that her sister had bad acne
00:16 and then it dissolved as soon as she used this
00:19 and that's why I've been using this
00:20 since I was about like 13 years old.
00:23 I'm gonna keep it so real, I don't touch my forehead.
00:27 I do not touch my forehead on a daily basis.
00:29 I don't think I've touched my forehead
00:31 in a few weeks at this point.
00:32 I view my forehead as like a very, very complicated
00:35 and sacred thing and I therefore won't touch it
00:38 because someone told me Naomi Campbell
00:40 doesn't put foundation on her forehead.
00:42 That might be wrong but ever since I heard that,
00:45 I haven't let it go.
00:46 Toner from Laneige.
00:50 Just a few drops.
00:51 I try not to pull too much
00:52 because I hear that it gives you wrinkles at an early age.
00:57 So the next thing we have here is quite a,
00:59 it's a small luxury, I'm not even gonna lie to you.
01:02 This is the Sunday Riley Good Jeans All-In-One.
01:05 Tiny bit on your hands.
01:06 You can go ahead and touch your forehead now.
01:12 Me, you know I'm not gonna do that.
01:14 And one thing that people forget about is their neck.
01:16 Can you believe that?
01:18 I personally never forget my neck
01:21 when I'm doing my skincare.
01:22 A lot of these products are recommendations
01:24 but if I'm not getting something recommended
01:26 and I need something specific,
01:27 I'm not gonna lie to you, Reddit.
01:29 Take it or leave it.
01:30 That is a great website.
01:32 I've gone to Reddit when I found no hope
01:35 in any other corner of this earth.
01:36 One on one skin, day cream.
01:39 You know, you never find yourself reading these things
01:42 until you have to, you know?
01:44 But this is basically moisturizer.
01:45 Okay, so we're gonna do the temples as well.
01:53 This is just a light massage, you know.
01:56 Days can be stressful so you just need to
01:58 calm yourself down in the morning
02:01 so you can prepare yourself for all the bull crap
02:03 that's gonna be happening in the day.
02:05 And for me, that can be a lot sometimes.
02:07 I'm a cosmetics person.
02:08 I like getting stuff done.
02:09 I like getting my nails done, my hair done.
02:12 I like doing my eyebrows.
02:14 I mean, what's left of them.
02:17 That's kind of what relaxes me.
02:18 It's just nice sometimes to feel, I don't know, pampered.
02:22 The most crucial thing is sunscreen.
02:24 I learned this the hard way a few times.
02:27 We're getting a bit close to the forehead here
02:31 so I'm just gonna, see?
02:33 That's the, okay.
02:34 And then the temples, down to your neck.
02:36 And I've got some broad shoulders
02:38 so it's going right down on these puppies.
02:39 We just need to cover it.
02:40 And the next thing I do after this is foundation.
02:43 I think I'm at a point where I found
02:45 two of the perfect shades to mix together to find my shade.
02:49 Header, I am not comparing myself
02:50 to who I'm about to mention,
02:52 nor am I saying I'm anything close.
02:54 But I do look at Beyonce.
02:56 For inspiration when it comes to makeup,
02:58 I'm not gonna lie, those early 2000s looks
03:00 that she was serving with the very minimal makeup,
03:03 the nice strong eyebrows.
03:05 She had a thin brow too and I loved it.
03:07 I think it's so beautiful.
03:08 And it sounds really weird, but the gap here,
03:11 just below the brow, is my favorite part of the whole face.
03:16 And hers was always looking delish.
03:18 We're gonna go in with the MAC Studio Radiance.
03:21 I'm mixing it with this MAC Studio Fix Fluid.
03:24 [soft music]
03:26 So now my foundation's just melting in.
03:33 I feel like the more confidence I've had
03:35 over the last few releases of music,
03:37 I feel like the more I've actually wanted
03:39 to experiment a little bit more with my looks
03:41 and even the way I dress has changed.
03:43 And I feel like what I love about makeup
03:45 is that you can match it so nicely to what you're wearing
03:48 and that's not something I necessarily thought of before.
03:50 I like furthering my aesthetic to more than just my music
03:53 and my clothes.
03:54 I like embodying what I'm trying to look like.
03:57 The next thing that I'm going to be doing
03:59 is my liquid blush.
04:00 I love The Simpsons so much
04:02 that they did a collab with Revolution
04:04 and I bought as much stuff as I could.
04:06 And it was, actually I was actually gonna buy it
04:08 so that I could just keep it,
04:09 but I ended up using it because it was so good.
04:11 I'm just gonna put a little bit on my finger
04:13 and when I say a little bit,
04:14 I mean a really tiny amount
04:16 and this will actually be your whole face.
04:19 So I'm actually just gonna put a little bit
04:20 on my under nose there.
04:22 Okay, see now it's coming together a little bit better.
04:26 My favorite collaboration has been,
04:31 K Trinada was a really good one for me.
04:33 I always mention K Trinada 'cause that is my man.
04:37 I love him.
04:37 And then a very underrated one,
04:39 Where You Are featuring Willow.
04:41 Just a tiny bit more here, here.
04:45 And what it gives you is just a nice little,
04:46 like look at the cheekbones.
04:48 All of a sudden they are there.
04:50 All of a sudden they're with us.
04:52 They're in the room.
04:53 I am just gonna put a little bit on here
04:55 and it just creates a nice rosy effect.
04:57 This is speaking Spanish,
04:59 I'm speaking a different language.
05:00 This isn't translating, but trust me,
05:02 in real life you can see it.
05:04 This is the best product on the market.
05:06 Don't be jaded because it's a Simpsons collab.
05:08 You're not too good for the Simpsons, relax, relax.
05:11 I like accentuating this part of my eyes.
05:14 And if you're East African,
05:15 we do tend to have this part a lot.
05:18 And I love it, I think it's really cute.
05:19 So what I do is I take this blunt Mac pencil in cork
05:23 and I'm just going to basically,
05:26 where my natural line is,
05:29 I'm just kind of gonna dot it.
05:31 I'm not even gonna like draw it,
05:32 I'm gonna dot it like this.
05:34 Cool.
05:35 So this is the Mac Haute and Naughty Lash.
05:41 I don't even think they do make this mascara anymore.
05:46 See, we're vintage over here.
05:47 We do everything vintage.
05:48 We don't do anything new, new.
05:50 I just think for me personally,
05:51 having a thicker brow kind of drew away
05:53 from what I wanted people to look at,
05:54 which was more my eyes and my cheekbones.
05:56 See, it's very simple.
05:57 They're there, but they're not too strong.
06:00 They're there, but they're not strong.
06:01 They're there, but they're not going to the gym.
06:04 I transitioned recently to a very pink blush.
06:07 It's ridiculous 'cause I'm fearless, you know?
06:10 I do things.
06:11 I do things for the thrill of it.
06:12 I'm gonna put some on my cheeks.
06:14 So as you can see, it's very, very bright pink.
06:17 It's giving Barbie, speaking of Barbie,
06:19 Stream Angel by me.
06:21 If anyone hasn't heard it, it's got an Irish jig in it.
06:25 A lot of people were surprised that I put an Irish jig
06:27 in the middle of a song for Barbie.
06:29 I think, listen, sometimes I have to be a patriot
06:33 of where I'm from.
06:34 I'm not from Ireland, but I'm damn near.
06:36 I'm damn near from there.
06:38 This is Max Factor Face Finity Bronzer Powder.
06:41 You know I'm not going up here,
06:43 but is it wrong for me to go down here?
06:46 Lip liner.
06:47 For anyone that's seeing Olivia Rodrigo live next year,
06:50 I'm the opener, so you know you're gonna see me first
06:52 and then her.
06:53 You don't need to arrive for me if you don't want to,
06:55 but I would greatly appreciate it.
06:57 Thank you very much.
06:57 For this album that I've put out,
07:00 I feel like I've had to really get into my
07:04 performer head space.
07:07 Navigate and figure out, like,
07:09 I want this side of me to be shown and this side,
07:11 and you never wanna come across as fake,
07:12 but you also wanna protect your sanctity and your privacy.
07:15 It's a very hard thing to navigate.
07:17 So next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna use
07:18 this Hard Candy lip gloss.
07:21 Last step before I leave the house.
07:27 I feel like it wouldn't really be me without a bang.
07:29 I'm just gonna remove these clips.
07:32 Without touching your forehead,
07:34 we're just going to move the bang.
07:37 This is the finished beat, the finished look.
07:39 It's not quite beat, it's more like smack.
07:41 Thank you so much for watching this video.
07:43 I don't thank anyone enough for allowing me
07:45 to be in spaces like this and doing this
07:47 in front of a camera.
07:48 I really do appreciate everyone for watching this,
07:50 and yeah, lots of love.
