00:00 >> I mean, God is good, man.
00:02 I was a prayer warrior.
00:03 I've been a prayer warrior all season, man.
00:05 And he really came through for us today.
00:07 And like I said, I wanna have those big games.
00:10 I wanna make those plays so that we can come out with a victory.
00:12 At the end of the fourth quarter, we talked about it all week,
00:14 there's attacking, sustaining, and finishing.
00:16 And today we got a chance to finish, so I'm proud of these guys.
00:19 >> The section of school records for perceptions and receiving yards.
00:23 What's it gonna be?
00:24 >> I mean, I'm probably gonna sleep with this thing tonight.
00:26 I probably won't let go of it for a little bit, man.
00:28 It means a lot to me.
00:29 And we talked about a lot of things like, did I imagine this?
00:32 And I really didn't imagine things like this happening.
00:35 And so I just know the work that I put in, man,
00:38 the work that we put in all offseason, all throughout the winter, it's paying off.
00:42 And I'd love to see that.
00:43 >> A lot of teams, if the record is what it is, kinda late in the year,
00:47 they fade, some even kinda quit on the end of the season.
00:51 Could you tell that this group was kinda still committed to finishing strong?
00:55 >> Yeah, I mean, I talk about it almost every week.
00:57 Like what motivates us isn't the record,
01:00 what motivates us isn't the external things, it's the internal things.
01:03 It's the brotherhood, it's how our relationship's inside that locker room.
01:06 And so we know we have a lot to play for, no matter what's going on with our record.
01:10 We have a lot to play for, we have a lot of people to play for.
01:12 So each and every Saturday, man, we're coming to ball out,
01:14 we're coming to give everything we have, cuz we know why we're here.
01:17 >> Thank you, Colandria, for playing a completely new interception.
01:21 Just what have you seen from him as a freshman coming in and
01:24 maturing in the last few games?
01:26 >> Yeah, I mean, at some point we gotta stop calling him a freshman, man.
01:28 He's just our quarterback.
01:29 He's balling right now.
01:30 He's been balling all season, man.
01:31 He grew up today.
01:33 I think it'll be really good to carry that over into next week and
01:36 over to the next season, man.
01:36 I'm proud of him.
01:38 >> What made this the landing spot for you?
01:41 >> Man, there's too many things.
01:42 I'd be up here all day if I really talked about it.
01:44 But it's the people that I encountered on my recruit when I was getting recruited.
01:48 It's the family feel, it's the brotherhood that I always talk about.
01:52 I know this is a place where I can develop both as a young man and
01:55 as a football player.
01:56 And so it's just the right fit.
01:58 >> Have you surprised yourself even?
02:00 It says on the notice that you played 40 games with the request and
02:03 never had a 100 yard receiving game and you've had nine.
02:06 >> Right, I mean, I knew it was somewhere in there.
02:08 I just had to dig deep and I had to go find it.
02:10 So I mean, it's something I think just came out this year, man.
02:14 Opportunity presented itself and I took advantage of it.
02:18 >> The touchdown there in the third quarter where you kinda had to leave both
02:21 of the defensive back.
02:22 What did you see on the play?
02:24 How did you catch that one?
02:25 >> Yeah, man, I think I actually have to give credit to E.D., Ethan Davies.
02:29 Yeah, I mean, he did his job right there.
02:31 He did a perfect job.
02:33 Sat there for the defender, gave him a little traffic to work through.
02:35 So, excuse me, back at the end zone, man,
02:38 Calandra, we know how he can do it with the ball.
02:40 So you put it there, I'm gonna make the play every time.
02:43 So I think right there, it was just a collective of 11 guys doing their job and
02:46 so we made things happen.
02:48 >> You mentioned that the relationships in the locker room,
02:50 have what happened to Paris happen and kind of that hanging over.
02:54 How did you guys handle that this week and was that on your mind at all?
02:58 >> Yeah, it's another edge for us, right?
03:00 I mean, that's our guy right there.
03:01 We love that guy.
03:02 We're thinking thin and we're worried about him.
03:04 We're thinking about him and we know he just adds to another thing that we're
03:07 playing for.
03:07 So when we show up on our Saturdays, when we show up throughout the whole week,
03:10 we know, man, there's a guy right there that really, he deserves to be out here.
03:13 He should be out here.
03:14 He wants to be out here.
03:15 So we gotta do it for him.
03:16 >> Well, obviously, the win is the most important thing, right?
03:20 But you're going into this game knowing you're pretty close to these records.
03:25 In the game, how aware are you of where you are, how close you are,
03:29 that kind of thing?
03:30 Are you aware at all?
03:32 >> Yeah, it was four yards.
03:33 So I knew, I was like, whenever I catch the ball, I'm probably gonna get it.
03:37 So I was aware of it, man.
03:39 I was just, I was happy in the moment.
03:41 I knew it'd be way sweeter, way better if we came out with a win, so.
03:46 >> I appreciate you being honest.
03:48 Because you didn't know.
