Transcript
00:00 So, I'm not going to make any comments about where things stand with the ongoing circumstances
00:08 because we have a hearing on Friday.
00:11 The support of President Ono, the Board of Regents, Board of Manual is greatly appreciated
00:19 as is the tremendous support of our alumni fan base towards our incredible football team.
00:27 There is already so much to be thankful for.
00:31 Who's got it better than us is what we like to say.
00:34 Nobody.
00:35 I'm very proud of our players.
00:39 Sharon, Coach Herb, the entire staff, the way that they handled the situation.
00:46 It was flying colors, man.
00:50 Players that just played their hearts out.
00:52 It's a team full of leaders, a team that's connected, committed, and as we've talked
00:59 about many times, plays for each other, very unselfish.
01:05 And finally, the whole world is seeing what I get to see every single day.
01:13 Players that play their hearts out.
01:15 Talented, resilient, great guys, and they play their hearts out together.
01:25 Undefeated this season, 10-0.
01:28 They won 26 regular season games.
01:32 Ten straight road wins, best program history since 1945 and 1948.
01:40 And no one cares who gets the credit.
01:43 They're always happy for the other guy's success.
01:46 Did a great job blocking out the noise from outside the stadium and inside.
01:55 Means so much, the incredible things that our team has accomplished.
02:00 Giving it their very best, competing, enjoying, and triumphant.
02:05 And the things that they all said, personally, Coach Moore, players said, and my daughter
02:15 Grace, what she wrote, just so special.
02:18 I'm going to remember that until the day they throw dirt over top of me.
02:24 And the program, sitting at 999 wins, a chance for 1,000 this Saturday.
02:35 It's in our wildest dreams.
02:40 That's what we hoped for.
02:41 That's what we worked for, was that we'd have a chance to play in our 11th game this season,
02:48 a chance to get that 1,000.
02:51 And I just really want to shout out the Green Bay Packers.
02:58 Most wins in NFL history, 793.
03:03 Most wins in high school football, Valdosta, Georgia, 951.
03:13 And Michigan Wolverines, 999.
03:18 No one has won more.
03:22 Nobody.
03:23 And I want to thank, especially, everyone who has put on the winged helmet.
03:31 All those that have contributed, and those that have supported their efforts, and the
03:40 current support, as I mentioned before, it's monumental.
03:44 It motivates us to find extra work to do, keep a one-track mind, and get keener and
03:51 finer, and more alert.
03:53 Get the job done.
03:54 I'm very proud of our football team.
03:58 Thank you.
