00:00 How has fatherhood really impacted you on the field and then also off the field?
00:05 Fatherhood impacted me just as a person.
00:08 You know, because you'll, a lot of times in life you gotta think selfishly.
00:12 But in the first time in life you gotta think more for bigger than yourself, bigger than your future.
00:18 What is your future along with your children?
00:20 How do you want your kids to be raised?
00:22 Who do you want your children to be around?
00:25 I think that's the most important.
00:27 Growing up, was there a celebration that you really admired as far as like a touchdown celebration or a sack celebration?
00:33 Not a touchdown. My parents don't let me celebrate.
00:36 Okay, got it. So, is the lion celebration your first celebration then?
00:41 It is. It's my only one.
00:43 What does your son think about it?
00:45 He loves it. He calls me big lion now.
00:47 And he's like, does that make me little lion?
00:49 And I'm like, yes, you are the little lion.
00:51 Because I can't wait to be a big lion like you.
00:53 Yeah, he's a little cub.
00:54 Yeah.
00:55 Is there something about you that would maybe surprise fans to know about you?
01:02 To me, to be real, I would say I'm probably the cheapest person in the cheapest people in the world.
01:11 That's funny. I'm actually very similar.
01:14 Love a good deal.
01:15 Oh, love a good deal.
01:17 If it ain't free, it ain't me.
01:21 I didn't start flying first class until like last year.
01:23 Okay. What was that first first class flight like?
01:26 Wow, this goes all the way back.
01:27 I would never go to fly first class if it wasn't for a deal I had.
01:31 It was like, oh, we're going to fly you out?
01:32 And then they flew me out first class.
01:34 And I got up there the first time and I was like, I should fly you.
01:37 You fly first class.
01:38 You're like, okay, the seat goes all the way back.
01:40 I get champagne right to start.
01:42 This is pretty cool.
01:43 Yeah, comfortable. I get my beverages, free bags.
01:45 I was like, all right, I can fly first a couple of times.
01:48 Okay, what feels different about this season than last season?
01:52 I would just say the guys in the room.
01:55 You know, we were close last year, but this year, three years in it with these guys.
01:59 Not a lot of switch-ups, kept the same guys.
02:02 I mean, the chemistry is above the charts.
02:04 Some of your teammates like Brandon Aubrey, really close to setting an NFL record in field goals.
02:11 Is that kind of exciting for you guys when you're looking around at your team
02:14 and it's like from special teams to defense to offense, we're all excited?
02:18 Yeah, it's really exciting and really exciting for him.
02:20 It gives an opportunity for him, a guy that used to play soccer, to come in here and dominate the sports world.
02:25 Maybe more players would do that.
02:26 Right.
02:27 Make it interesting.
02:28 And it's a culture thing.
02:29 All sports align with each other.
02:31 Yeah.
02:32 Back to your SAC celebration.
02:33 I'm sure you're hoping that you'll get to have a couple of those lion crawls up in Philadelphia.
02:37 Mm-hmm.
02:38 Not a lot of people know what that experience is like when you go into a stadium and everyone hates you.
02:44 What would you like it to be?
02:46 What do I like about it?
02:48 What would you like compare it to?
02:51 I would say it's like compared to going to a family member's house that you don't like.
02:55 [Laughter]
02:56 You know, it's like when you're young, you have to go there, but you necessarily don't want to be there
03:01 or being around cousins you don't like, you've got to deal with it.
03:04 It's like going to--it's like celebrating with your whole family for Thanksgiving.
03:08 Right.
03:09 Okay.
03:10 There's just like the weird uncle in the corner you're not really sure.
03:12 Exactly.
03:13 Exactly.
03:14 Do you have any weird Philadelphia stories?
03:16 No, because I've only been there one time, but there was a time that--because I used to go to Philly a lot to get cheesesteaks.
03:22 Okay.
03:23 I was just standing in the corner.
03:25 This was like last year or two.
03:26 Okay.
03:27 I was just standing in the corner, and some Philly guy was like, "Why are you standing here in the corner?"
03:32 And he was like, "You're used to this, huh?"
03:34 I was like, "I guess."
03:36 Because I just don't look my sons like to be home.
03:38 Right.
03:39 So they were like surprised to see me in the corner of Philadelphia.
03:41 Yeah, you're like, "You want me to sign something?"
03:43 Yeah.
03:44 And I was probably dressed just like this, like very casual, not like seen.
