00:00 You've been on campus for a couple years now, you've been able to finally get yourself really immersed in the defense.
00:04 How do you think that you've really improved from spring to fall now?
00:07 Being out in the spring, you know, being on the sideline for a long time really gave me an opportunity to get to know the playbook a lot better
00:16 and talk to coach a lot more, really asking questions to him and watching film with him later on during the day.
00:21 And yeah, I feel like that was really, you know, the good thing about that happening that I could really immerse myself into the playbook a lot more
00:28 and I really feel like it's benefited me going on the field right now during fall camp.
00:32 Do you think that, you know, it helps with run fits, but how do you think that you've evolved as a passer-shooter over your time here at UW?
00:37 Working with coach Ben, for sure, you know, it's helped me a lot. A lot more, you know, moves that I put in my bag, you know.
00:43 Yeah, there's all credit to coach Ben, honestly. Working with him over the summer was great.
00:49 He's a great guy, I was doing hand fighting with him and all that stuff, boxing, you know, he teaches you a lot.
00:54 You and Lance Holzklotz seem to have pretty similar skill sets. Do you think that you guys are able to really learn from one another?
00:59 Because I know when you got here you were just kind of a super raw player.
01:02 No doubt. He's been like a very, you know, fluid passer-shooter ever since he got here, you know, just the way he's built, how athletic he is, mobile.
01:11 So he gives me tips, I give him tips, you know, all the time, like when we watch each other doing one-on-ones or doing team reps.
01:19 So having him there with me is really great. I'm looking forward to playing with him.
