00:00 I like the Ottawa Senators plus a puck and a half this evening, Carver. I think we're
00:08 gonna have a close game tonight between Ottawa and Carolina. I think Ottawa can,
00:12 you know, you get this game to overtime. I'm a big fan of the plus one and a half. Yeah,
00:16 there's always the the fear of the empty netter, but also if you get into overtime,
00:20 it's an automatic win for you as well. It's a fair price. Last night it was minus 145. Right
00:27 now it's minus 150. So the Senators is one of the games that catches my eye. The Vancouver Canucks
00:34 and the Edmonton Oilers should be a fun game tonight, Carver. You know, when Rick Tocant
00:38 took over for the Vancouver Canucks, he went 20-12-4, which is super impressive, actually.
00:45 They've got, they're a much healthier team than they were last year coming into the season. This
00:50 is a big-time game. They play each other two times. They play tonight, then they play again
00:55 at Edmonton over the weekend. It's a big game. And last year we had a winning formula with the
01:01 Vancouver Canucks. Over one and a half goals in the first period. Canucks plus one and a half in
01:06 the game. And over six and a half in the game. And listen, Thatcher Damko's playing. I think
01:12 the Canucks will be better defensively, but really hard to want to bet an under in this game tonight,
01:16 Carver. You watched the games last night. I don't know if it's a league directive. I think it is,
01:21 early. Call it by the book. You'll notice, bro, that wasn't a penalty shot last night.
01:26 I mean, that man, they were blowing whistles like traffic cops last night in the NHL.
01:30 They were. That's why I kind of like early in the year, Gabe, to play a little bit more power play
01:37 points. And I know they're tough to get. You never know how many power plays there's going to be in
01:41 the game, but you said it. They come out of the gates. There's two things. They call more early
01:46 and the players aren't as sharp yet. So they're a little more, they're a little sloppy out of the
01:50 gates. So that leads to more penalties generally in the first three, four weeks of the season. And
01:54 you can find some power play points and only play the best guys. Don't play the, you know,
01:59 play the guys you know are going to get all the power play time. Like last night with Crosby,
02:02 I know they didn't get one, but still.
