00:37 Big day here at Barstool. We'll start with the Barstool news.
00:45 I was going to say, I'm going to, I'll be over here. Stay away from the undertaker over here.
00:50 You look great today, by the way. Thanks.
00:52 And I'm happy you won the election. Yeah, yeah, for sure. For sure.
00:56 The new Minihill. I don't know if I like that. I would not.
01:01 That's not a... They're black and white. Like, there's no two ways about it.
01:06 Kelly Keegs has won the war. The Mean Girls are out at Barstool.
01:10 We invited them to judge the OnlyFans pageant we had yesterday,
01:15 which would have been perfect for them to be in and like, you know, make a good effort and just ghosted on us.
01:23 Yeah. So I talked to Alex today about that because I caught wind of it because I asked if they're in the office.
01:28 She said she was sick. Not really an excuse to not get back to you.
01:33 So they're done. Oh, they're done? Yeah. Fired? No. Like just not? No, her contract was up.
01:39 So it was in the midst of whether we're going to renew it. Breaking news on Barstool Radio.
01:43 I was not happy in light of everything going on around here with layoffs and the speeches I've given.
01:51 I heard that story. It wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear.
01:55 Dave made the decision to not renew Alex. Alex's contract was already up.
02:01 Jordan's was coming up in two weeks. So this is being posed as not renewing.
02:09 However, on radio, we asked if they were in the middle of their contract. Would they have been fired?
02:12 We said yes. This was after the last straw was we did the Only Fans pageant yesterday.
02:19 They were supposed to be judges and they didn't show up.
02:23 I'll be honest. Did we have anyone replace them? It's actually so funny.
02:29 I was asked five minutes before it started if I could fill in and I said yes.
02:32 Let me tell you what, I came around the corner here because it started when I was recording.
02:36 Yeah. So I came around the corner and I saw Kelly sitting there. I said, Jesus Christ.
02:41 The fucking it's I didn't even know that.
02:43 It's stranger than fiction. I know. I know you don't know.
02:45 I had no idea that I was like, holy shit. I had no idea.
02:47 I was all it was. So the idea was to have all female judges because we were kind of flipping the idea of men and women on their heads.
02:53 So it originally was chicks in the office. Yeah. Ria got sick.
02:56 Yeah, it was Bree and Grace and then Bree left for whatever reason.
03:00 And then the Mean Girls. I get a text saying we're organizing the guys.
03:06 We're getting the carpet ready. Where are the judges?
03:10 And Jake Bass texted was like, I can't find the Mean Girls.
03:12 So I text the Mean Girls. I set this up. I have been trying.
03:18 I have been trying so hard with them and I invited them on. I was like, this is going to be good content.
03:22 I think they would be good at it and it will be a good way to new leaf.
03:27 Start coming to the office and ingratiate yourself.
03:29 They were like, absolutely. Sounds good. Exclamation point. So cool. Can't wait.
03:34 They said we have an interview from 12 to 2 and I said good because the girls are getting here at 1 30.
03:38 So 2 o'clock is fine. Then I get that text. The Mean Girls aren't here.
03:43 So I text them at like 2 30 day of and I said, are you girls around? Nada. Zero back.
03:50 I'm feeling a little bit like I could have just like not say anything about that.
03:55 Yeah, but I talked about it because I thought it was fucked up and then it got well, you got to Dave.
03:59 And also, I mean, I, you know, I'm not not starting shit.
04:02 I feel like it's not the first time you've gotten blown off by them.
04:06 I mean, they've blown off everybody and you stick up for them all.
04:09 I never really got why you stick up for them so much because they blow have blown you off a bunch of times.
04:13 Well, because I like last straw kind of thing.
04:16 Yes. I think that there was there was just something different about it.
04:21 What happened with them was like I in the beginning I was kind of defending them because like they were nice to me.
04:27 And I was just like, I think people are being I know you didn't love the block.
04:30 I know that that that's something we talked about. You didn't love like it was kind of we have a little folks at home.
04:35 We have a little tension here. I don't think so.
04:37 I don't think I feel I feel alleviated now, to be honest.
04:42 I do not want it. Well, no, no, but I but with you, you cost two people their jobs.
04:47 You struggling artist. Oh, please. You tried really hard with them.
04:51 And I know that you didn't like you read the room better than I did on them.
04:55 Not being able to or not wanting to do all that bullshit that I did.
05:00 And I thought that I thought I was right. You thought you were right in that situation.
05:03 And I think you were right in that situation.
05:06 But I also think that I was a little right about their temperament.
05:11 Yeah. Well, so I mean, I always thought of it as like when Alex did rough and rowdy and they did most dangerous game.
05:19 They're doing things that like I'm sitting on my couch.
05:21 I don't do those things anymore. And these people are like grinding, doing the hard shit.
05:25 And then the office kind of like had their feeling about it.
05:28 And then but then there was also this element of like putting their them personally aside.
05:33 I don't like anybody here. Making content worse here.
05:41 Making someone else's content. Harder. Yes. Right.
05:47 Like like there was a. So you were that you were saying it was harder for them to make content based on be successful.
05:53 Okay. Not to make content. But when when if the whole office is like fuck the Mean Girls, they're not good.
05:57 It's kind of similar to the Dave and Clemmer argument last week.
06:01 Yes. Yes. I actually think I think what Clemmer did, which is not something that I think having the office be like the Mean Girls aren't funny and their content is not good is way more detrimental.
06:10 Yeah. I actually think the Clemmer thing is not that bad.
06:12 I think it is bad to like joke about layoffs, but that's not what was happening.
06:16 Well, I was you know, I got a little bit a little bit of runoff from from that Clemmer thing.
06:19 I understand. I just thought that was like a dick a dick thing to say.
06:23 I didn't think much of it past that. I never thought even when I when we did the blog,
06:28 I never thought it was like where I'm putting down other pieces.
06:31 I guess I didn't think that there was that much power in what was said to like put down and make a brand worse or make the job worse.
06:41 Well, like they all they did all day long was talk about how they don't they don't care about the haters.
06:44 They don't care that everybody hates them. Everybody's talking shit to their face all the time.
06:48 And I thought that they were in on it. I was tweeting.
06:50 They made it clear that all that. I can't wait to read it. Like there's so many things.
06:54 I think it's different when people hear or like. Even here.
06:57 Even here, though, I feel like you're definitely quote tweets of them before your listen.
07:02 We talked about this on radio. No, no, I'm just saying there's a little bit of here.
07:07 If you're trying to say that it was just busting balls or we do this with everybody, that's just not true.
07:13 It's different. It's the whole this is a whole storyline and shit.
07:17 It took off. Yes, but I also became something different.
07:19 I also think the response from them was completely different than I ever anticipated.
07:23 I thought and I said this, I even messaged like Kim about this once because Alex's mom,
07:27 because I was upset to have offended her so badly that she like unfollowed me on Instagram.
07:31 I thought that they were going to tell me like, fuck you. And we're going to go back and forth.
07:35 It was gonna be this whole rivalry thing. It did not still work here.
07:38 No, no, no, no. It's like mother. I had, but I had that's why I was like, oh, no, they do not like this.
07:47 And then it was like, well, I'm posting pictures of myself crying on somebody's shoulder.
07:51 I'm doing that. And so like, all right, they're playing their role now as like the sad people that got bullied at work.
07:56 When in reality, I do think that we all kind of taught each other like that.
08:01 We all joke like that. They were ready for it. They said, I can't wait to see the blog.
08:04 Oh, my God, this is crazy. Blah, blah, blah. And then when it came out, it just wasn't enough.
08:07 I was pretending like she didn't read that blog for weeks. She's like, it was too many.
08:10 Couldn't even read it. I'm like, if you read it, you would see what I said then.
08:13 And that's what's important to me. Don't let Jordan dictate what you're seeing,
08:17 because Jordan saw it, didn't like it. And I understand that.
08:18 And I think I said to you on KFC Radio once that I wasn't sure if I knew that Alex would be OK.
08:23 I didn't know if Jordan would be. But this was a test to see whatever it was.
08:26 We sat behind each other. She seemed engaged on Twitter before I even put the blog out.
08:30 It all seemed fine. And then it backfired. It went on for like two days.
08:33 I then said, all right, enough. I'm not talking about this anymore because clearly they don't like it.
08:37 They're not here to play. I'm not going to like pile on to this.
08:40 And now eight. How many months later? Six months later.
08:42 We're still going on about how, you know, I why I didn't make fun of Bree and Grace.
08:47 Yes, I did. I didn't do this. I didn't do that. It's different for them.
08:51 They you know, they get all this hate. They do this. They do that.
08:54 Everybody gets fucking hate. Everybody has been through the ringer about something in their personal life.
08:57 Everybody gets that. And I understand that if maybe you don't want to deal with it, that's fine.
09:01 But like there was then then be out of it.
09:05 Can I ask a question? Which I'm sure you've answered.
09:07 You didn't really think it made all women at bars to look bad, though, did you?
09:11 I said that I thought I didn't like how we were raising up people that were putting out dumb clips on purpose.
09:18 And then that was setting the standard for like, OK, the only way to get your clips up and to get clicks
09:22 and whatever was to put out dumb shit when there are plenty of other girls here who put saying smart things
09:28 and weren't getting enough like traction online. I felt that way.
09:31 Again, I don't know. The counter to that is like Caller Daddy wasn't like the high intellectual.
09:37 I know that. No, no, Dave, you're right about that.
09:39 I actually don't I don't think that mean girls and Caller Daddy are alike at all.
09:42 And I know that you have made that comparison.
09:44 I think that Alex, what she was doing, while it wasn't like the smartest thing in the world, it was innovative.
09:48 It was different. There were very few women talking about sex in such an open and an honest way and kind of like a gross way.
09:55 Like girls talk about sex like that.
09:56 And she was one of the only people that really like put her whole life out there and talked about it in a way that we all were kind of like, all right, yeah, let's let's get in it.
10:04 Like, let's talk like this. That's fine. Like women can talk like that, too.
10:06 Women can act like that, too. And now she has 60 million dollars and she's in now her whole vibe has changed.
10:11 She does interviews. She does.
10:12 She'll talk about sex stuff, but she has turned it into a bigger platform for female voices.
10:16 And I think that's awesome. I don't think that clips about whether or not you believe in dinosaurs and wash your hands are going to eventually turn into, you know, Barbara fucking Walter.
10:25 Right. I mean, but right. But my point would be like that was not exactly like.
10:32 They're the only people intellectual content. Then you have a lot of guys. I mean, we say a lot of dumb shit to Smitty.
10:38 The dumbest guy who's ever really lived and done said so many dumb things.
10:43 Dumb shit. I guess what I think, I think that my what my my thought was at the time is like there's so there's already so much dumb shit.
10:53 Why do we have to now make the only like the women who are getting they were getting the most attention, the most accolades during our meetings, the highest.
11:01 But that's like a chicken and the egg.
11:03 Like in ball, Paul will tell you that like, you know, the clips were performing and you can tell when they're so you see something that sucks.
11:11 Why? Why did like why were those clips performing?
11:13 Like, is it because we didn't give anybody else?
11:15 No, I know. But is because we didn't give them a chance to consume something else.
11:18 And we're only feeding this bullshit. And we're only.
11:20 So, yeah, I don't think I think all would say like we see the clips starting to perform.
11:26 And then it's like we pour gas on it and he doesn't care what it is.
11:30 So I think a big part of what happened with with them, too, is there was every email from Paul or whoever was like, mean girls, mean girls, mean girls.
11:41 Be like the mean girls. Be more like the girls.
11:43 Like people here brought down my throat.
11:45 It was like their teacher's pet. And it's not really their fault, but it was like and I also think Paul was the one who brought him on.
11:50 Right. So Paul probably had a vested interest in that, which for how long?
11:53 For a year, we said, OK, well, I think.
11:56 No, he put him together.
11:57 I thought after that argument, after the the Daniel Bernstein.
12:02 No, I was talking to Alex. It all started when she went after the we were what?
12:06 Yeah, the Daniel Bernstein. And then I got in a fight with him.
12:09 It's like I was like, if you're going to be a mean girls being mean, ironically, they didn't really own being the mean.
12:14 No, no. But I don't I don't agree with you that there was like some sort of grand scheme to put their shit was working.
12:22 Right. I just think that it's like it's like being a teacher's pet.
12:26 People are like, fuck that that student who the teacher loves the most because it was just also, though, I.
12:30 But we got when I use the call or daddy analogy is not the content.
12:35 It's the feedback when they were in apples and oranges.
12:39 How fast? But when they were going up, people were like, why are you promoting?
12:42 Like, why are they becoming teachers? Well, their content is going bananas, right?
12:46 Different levels. But like my idea. Right.
12:48 And Paul does not play favorites like right for the most part.
12:53 It's like he's just trying to get clicks and get things going.
12:55 Those, for whatever reason, were resonating.
12:58 And it is kind of I guess I have a talent in a way of being like, it's not just what they were doing.
13:07 How they were delivering these questions, whether dinosaurs existed, it all kind of worked.
13:12 Right. It like worked in a way that worked. I guess I wonder, though, because right.
13:15 All the clips were going off. They were going crazy.
13:18 Whatever. I guess I wonder more like, did that translate to the success of the show?
13:22 And did it actually bring people in to see the actual stuff they were saying,
13:25 which I watched the show a bunch of times and they did have good parts of their show.
13:29 They had intelligent conversations. They had normal things they were saying.
13:31 And I understand we use the clips to draw people in.
13:34 But when I'm getting and this is what set me off, honestly, was that day I, you know,
13:38 we're hearing about it all in the office. Everybody's talking shit. Everybody's posting about it.
13:41 Then I'm hearing from people in my real life who like follow Barstool because they know me.
13:45 And they're like, who are these morons like that you work with?
13:47 And that to me, it was like, I don't want people to think that like that's all more.
13:51 Right. Well, I like I know that there's a lot of morons.
13:54 Listen, that's fine. An example. The people who are morons are morons.
13:56 I don't want everybody. I don't want them to think Barstool are morons.
13:59 Like I'm I hate that. And you have to hate that, too.
14:01 I would think I know. I mean, I don't because we've had morons here for quite a long time.
14:06 And it's all do you want like you want everyone to be morons?
14:09 No, but I think that's unfair just to be like two to women are being labeled like,
14:15 yeah, we just are singling out one clip when we have so much stuff and a lot of it is pretty moronic.
14:21 So for sure. But I don't think I was singling them out.
14:25 While it was translating to the show, right? Yeah, it was growing.
14:28 Yeah, they had a they had a very quick.
14:31 What what was a little different or at least seemingly from the outside is once kegs killed them.
14:37 It really went down. So it looked like the Barstool audience was largely their audience.
14:44 Like they weren't getting outside us necessarily.
14:47 So once again, so there was a significant drop off after kegs is okay.
14:51 He's murdered it. Yeah, she ruined it. And again, that's not like what I'm saying goes to like when I'm yelling at it's like,
14:58 yeah, but it's like if it could have kept going that could have been like a great thing that they had harnessed like the like the Midwest girls.
15:05 You know what I mean? Like I thought that's what I thought. I was like, all right, so I am just not the audience.
15:08 Maybe like the like Metropolitan areas are not the audience despite, you know,
15:12 I'm living here whatever but I thought that they had like the Oklahoma girls on lock or something but bustling metropolis of you know what I mean?
15:19 Like I don't know like it's just I thought that they had a they had an audience that I don't know,
15:22 you know, they had those those happy hours and stuff.
15:24 I don't know. I don't know. I thought that they had you'll never have to deal with him again.
15:30 I guess not. Yeah, I had this shit to back it up.
15:32 And so I didn't I didn't feel bad going at them.
15:34 So I thought they had the shit to back it up. Yeah, you can just be like, I don't know and I don't care anymore.
15:38 Yeah, now it's whatever who gets there going. I mean, I still I have no will will towards them.
15:42 But no, no, how'd your call with Alex go after radio?
15:46 Not bad again. I like Alex and then in the craziest twist was after all this happens.
15:53 Jordan was in my studio doing some work. Yeah. Yeah.
15:57 Well, it all I know what the one day you get like goes the day you're working this this I'm uncomfortable with,
16:02 you know, I feel bad. I don't you killed like all I killed them for sure.
16:06 But I also like I wish that they talked to me like they refuse to talk to me.
16:09 I texted them. I tried to talk to the person. I briefly talked to you and Minahan.
16:14 What is your relationship? They're best friends.
16:17 You basically are Kirk you. Yeah, you two are that label.
16:20 All I don't love that label of. Yeah.
16:22 Kirk like I think that's why we I think that's why we sort of hate each other at the same time is because we're kind of we're similar.
16:28 You seem to kind of be like, oh, they're gone. That's what Kirk does when I run someone out.
16:31 I was like, all right, he's gone. Yeah, just like who's the next target?
16:37 I don't think they're crying about it because if they wanted to say they would have stayed like
16:40 and you always talk about like Alex want to be here for so long, whatever.
16:42 If she want to be here so long, she still be here. Well, yeah, but you made her life miserable.
16:46 She didn't want to come in. She didn't talk to me. We didn't have a conversation.
16:49 Literally the day of I was like, let's have a conversation. I texted them.
16:51 I said, this is blown out of proportion. It's very Kirk like Kirk's people don't necessarily have conversations.
16:56 He just beats them into submission and they disappear.
16:59 It's also when I do be like you fucking piece of shit.
17:04 You shouldn't have a job kill yourself. And then he's like I texted them.
17:07 They didn't want to come on my show. It doesn't really work that way.
17:10 I wasn't even trying to be on camera. I said when they didn't want to do anything on camera.
17:14 I said, okay, let's talk outside. And I said we can talk whenever I was like,
17:16 I understand you guys are mad at me take as much time as you need, but I'm here to talk and they and they did it.
17:20 They wouldn't have a kill list and like on the all like he's just and just cross it off with some lipstick.
17:25 Yeah, like how many I do like a lipstick kill this. That's yeah.
17:30 Well, oh, really? Oh, no.
17:34 Okay. Well that makes my life much easier as like the person who has a higher talent to have the other talent running the talent.
17:40 We hire out of here. It makes people like why does Dave care about that?
17:44 Well, it's if they didn't skip on the pageant.
17:49 It would have just been it was a decision had to be coming and I said this day.
17:54 I don't know that they had to stay. Keeks killed them.
17:59 They did not want to be in the office. So I don't know.
18:03 I talked about them blowing me off and if I didn't say anything no one would ever known.
18:07 Well, I was already doing the rounds today.
18:12 I'm like who's I asked him like are the mean girls in the office is Smitty in the office
18:17 and those are the rounds when I was told what happened.
18:22 So I called and asked first I asked balls like were they supposed to do something then I asked you
18:26 and once you said it it's like all right fine. That's over.
18:28 But again, I think they probably that's indicative that they had made their mind up
18:32 and I just I think if I was like you guys can do your own shit
18:35 and not come in the office they're like, okay good.
18:38 We're not doing that anymore and they're not successful enough where it is
18:45 and it we saw the opposite like when they were in the office they were doing much better
18:50 and then keegs made it possible for them to come in the office.
18:53 He's killed them. You actually just don't I don't know they potentially very successful.
19:00 He was going like this and then Kelly killed him and it went like that.
19:03 So I just don't know here's something that can you imagine not coming in
19:06 and at least like standing up for yourself yelling yelling me do something.
19:09 I'm fine with me like what's this is what gets confusing around
19:12 and it's part of the other argument not everybody's saying so some people are sociopaths.
19:17 You and some people don't like conference like Smitty that shower scene.
19:21 I don't really go at him in this way because he can't take it.
19:24 He's like he doesn't have that DNA.
19:27 So I just let him happen and now I know and I never did again.
19:30 I never did again. I only killed the person one time.
19:34 I didn't kill her a second time. I didn't I didn't think it was going to be a shot.
19:37 It wasn't just you you like the whole office. Yeah, you really made people hate Queen Beach.
19:42 I think well, I think that I don't know.
19:45 I think it was like a bubbling below the surface about attitudes.
19:48 And I think that maybe that's crazy.
19:50 I went thought a reason really know I did bad attitude all the time.
19:54 Why and I don't know. I don't know Alex definitely didn't sure.
19:57 I don't know are and are like she was didn't for a long time
20:00 and then all of a sudden they had a bad attitude and that's why I said I said I knew Alice on BVA.
20:04 We did BVA together. We stayed in the same hotels together like we were friends
20:08 and then suddenly no more like it wasn't that we weren't friends anymore,
20:11 but it was like I don't know if this is before your bloggers.
20:13 This is way before. Yeah. Yeah. Oh like a year before we were friends and we were friends for a long time.
20:17 You know, I went to our birthday party like it was all fine.
20:20 And and I think that like I don't know sometimes I feel people get swept up in the glamour swept up in the lights
20:25 and all that and they want to kind of look for other things
20:29 and I think that that's kind of what was going on.
20:33 And I don't think people like it. They're gone. You did your job.
20:36 I'm sorry about that. Sorry about it. As long as I'm not in trouble for it.
20:39 And two bodies on her jacket now people don't get they have I think I was saying this a little bit.
20:44 They have I think 500,000 followers on TikTok 250 on Insta for me to go hire two girls who have that.
20:55 I would pay them a shit ton more than they were getting here.
20:58 But keegs murdered him. So we'll just have to go start over.
21:01 Can't pay dead people. That's just have to go build up another something.
21:04 So they're dead. Whatever. Just let Dave deal with it.
21:08 Thanks keegs. Sorry Dave. Sorry about that.
21:14 So yeah. The end of the Mean Girls era. It burned hot and bright.
21:20 And you know was it twice as hot and half as long or whatever the phrase is.
21:24 Yeah. Yeah. I guess I just don't. If somebody's I'm the opposite.
21:28 If people are mean and they're like you know come out or whatever I feel like I go twice as hard.
21:32 I know but you I run on spite I guess. I run more.
21:35 Two different types of people you know. I guess.
21:36 I guess the only it was probably the most real takedown I guess we've ever had.
21:41 Yeah. Yeah. I guess so. I came. I did not realize it affected the numbers.
21:45 I didn't know that either. I thought that it was.
21:47 I didn't know. I know no matter what you're saying right now there's a part of you that's like.
21:50 I mean like like I just want. I was right. I was you know I was right.
21:54 I was right about things. It was like well look at their YouTube views and it's like well aren't.
21:59 Yeah they're not big on YouTube. There are people different. I'm not big on YouTube.
22:01 I never. Yeah I never thought that. I also thought they did decent YouTube.
22:04 It's like guess what their numbers were bigger than some shows here that I think you would think are firmly safe
22:11 and entrenched at Barstow and would never be let go and they were bigger than that.
22:14 Yeah. So but they're dead. Do you think that they.
22:20 There's a house fell on you think that they grow wicked witch like their feet are out
22:24 and they're just going to roll up because they're dead and you killed them.
22:26 That's me. Will you reach out to them now at all. I feel no.
22:29 That's mean. Will they reach out to you. I would love if I got to fuck you.
22:34 What if you just text them like whoops. I would say love.
22:37 I would say the Jordan something complete your villain.
22:40 I would love anything from it. Like I just I thought for sure we'd argue a little spark like whatever.
22:44 I don't Jordan always talk about she's got an anger management problem.
22:46 I was excited. I was like let's go. I did expect more of that too.
22:51 I was excited. I just you know that's part of the reason I like being here.
22:54 I like to argue. It's Frankie doing it.
22:56 Oh yeah. It's being so weird. I ran in.
23:00 But the thing for me is I just tried very hard very hard and then you did you tried really hard.
23:05 You tried really hard and the last conversation I had with him I said if you're going to be here.
23:10 You got to like go all in. But also if your choice is to leave here like that's cool.
23:14 Yeah but you got to do one or the other and I think they were just kind of waiting for someone else to make a choice.
23:19 That's kind of what I think choice was made. The mean girls are gone.
23:24 You can go into a big trigger. You can back out. You're in the run down.
23:31 So we're missing a great hangover. I don't know. I know. What the fuck.
23:35 What was longer the mean girls tenure or Aaron Rodgers with the Jets.
23:39 But they're going to be working the same amount this year.
23:44 That sucks huh. Are you bummed out about that. I am. I am. I am. That was bad.
23:47 I mean I actually we really didn't even get into it too much on radio but I left at halftime because I was just like I didn't.
23:53 You know they came back and won the game and I was kind of like whatever.
23:56 Yeah I saw you taking a walk and I walked home and then I drove home and I played music to like make myself sad.
24:03 Of course. And I like spiraled a little bit thinking about the Mets.
24:06 The Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd is a song that Jacob deGrom played and so I played that to like wallow in it.
24:13 And I started to like actually spiral and get like genuinely upset on Instagram live.
24:17 I was like I'm going to cry on Instagram live right now. I moved the phone.
24:21 I was like I'm starting. I was like I'm saying I was like oh you just can't have that meme out there.
24:25 No no no no no. Not day one. Any sort of footage of me crying. You can't have it on the internet.
24:31 No. God forbid. But I was like I was thinking to myself all I want is just to like watch sports with my my kids my son and like and enjoy it.
24:40 And I don't think it's ever going to happen. I was like.
24:42 And I just like pointed the phone to the back of my car and I was like is this fucking.
24:46 I never go on Instagram live. I was going to say. By the way I never do it.
24:48 I saw you posting like I went I went three times like that.
24:52 I went live and I turned it off and I was like I'm back. Another thing.
24:55 And I went and I was like I'm going to do this all I want. Sometimes sometimes it's like that.
24:58 I was fucking crying about a game that they eventually win like an hour and a half later.
25:03 That's how much of a roller coaster it was. But in the long run you know they'll be like their defense and their team is good enough to win some games like it was last year.
25:13 But they want it could make the playoffs still maybe but they're not winning.
25:19 They won seven games last year with Zach Wilson Mike White and Joe Flacco.
25:23 That is a Herculean effort. That's when seven games.
25:26 But it took like every you know I think there was six and one to start and then it just all fell off because your defense is just on the field every fucking minute.
25:35 And there's just no you know no no respite. So as good as those guys are they can only carry you so far.
25:40 They did get better I think they got they did get some more weapons they got in people come back from injuries.
25:45 They are a better team. So maybe you know you're a couple games above 500.
25:50 It could happen but it's also there in the middle.
25:52 Not go they're not going into Kansas City and beating Patrick Mahomes Trevor Lawrence Joe Burrow like that.
25:57 Like I was they just beat they just beat fucking Josh Allen in the bills and we probably would have said that you know a week ago.
26:02 But I said if you if you if you knew we go that Aaron Rodgers wasn't around you would I saw everybody everybody in their mother tweeting last night.
26:08 Josh Allen kind of overrated. I thought like I thought he was the golden boy.
26:11 Everybody loved him. I mean the Jets are in the bills head.
26:14 They've lost the bills have lost to the Jets a lot and most people don't lose to the Jets a lot.
26:19 So I feel bad and that's why I say is like I'm a giant fan but I don't hate the Jets.
26:24 I hate the Mets with a burning passion but I legitimately felt bad for Aaron Rodgers.
26:28 But Jeff fans make it hard to not hate the Jets.
26:31 What are the Jet fans doing right now that they are not fully allowed to be doing.
26:38 Well no they were just like you know I was like I was like I said something I was like I actually feel bad for the Jets was like oh fuck that.
26:44 No no I was like at this point you have to like maybe just give up hope on the front.
26:47 We're like if you get the best team you've ever had one of the best quarterbacks of all time and he gets hurt two minutes into the game.
26:53 Maybe it's like you just cancel franchise people like you piece of shit the Giants lost 40 to nothing.
26:57 Well yeah one that's nothing to do with the other and also I guarantee you would you rather have lost 40 nothing last night and had Aaron Rodgers be healthy like yes.
27:04 And I think what you're saying is true.
27:06 There is no hope.
27:08 There is no anyone else just here ringing in there.
27:11 No probably just you.
27:12 Okay.
27:14 Weird ringing.
27:16 Weird ringing.
27:16 Such a freak.
27:18 Low key the biggest freak.
27:19 It's never a surprise.
27:20 Like I always I just thought it sounded like it was oh we're all hearing that.
27:23 Nope.
27:24 Move on move on.
27:25 Tommy's an alien.
27:26 He's a freak.
27:27 He's a freak.
27:27 Um what you said is true.
27:31 There is no hope.
27:32 There is no like I don't know what could ever happen that gets you this excited for a season.
27:37 And even by Mets Jets Nick standards four snaps zero for one zero yards is his final probably his final line as a jet is insane.
27:49 It is it's it's not even like people say same old Jets same old Mets goddamn Jets all those things lol Mets.
27:56 Like even by all of those standards.
27:58 This is like holy fucking shit.
28:01 It wasn't even on the table like the lol Jets would have been like oh Rogers comes he's washed.
28:05 He threw maybe maybe Rogers throws an interception a pick six on his first row.
28:09 Seemed like they lose 40 to nothing right just regular regular shit.
28:13 Yeah him tearing his Achilles after the fucking flat.
28:17 Well, do you think do you think that that Clemmer cursed you?
28:20 It's a Clemmer curse.
28:21 Clemmer saw that clip and I'm flat out.
28:24 I woke up thinking about Vinny test of her tearing his Achilles.
28:26 I said don't put that out there.
28:29 The last time I was excited started season was the year after they made the AFC Championship game against the Broncos test of Ernie
28:34 and the first quarterback game goes back close the clothes out.
28:38 I can't it's the first thing I thought about when I woke up this morning.
28:44 I'd actually like to like to get him on here to hear about that.
28:46 And and yes another mean girl grave dancer guy.
28:50 He's got his throat. He's still he's still saying he has hope he still has hope for the dress.
28:55 He still has hope for the death. He said I know I know I'll be honest.
28:59 I woke up this morning and I thought like maybe they're not totally done.
29:02 But as the day has gone on I'm like we're fucked. No, we're not.
29:05 Okay, we're having you on for two reasons. Okay.
29:08 I don't know if you're aware Kelly killed the mean girls.
29:11 I heard you are her her compadre her partner in crime.
29:14 You are the tag team the dynamic duo of death.
29:17 Are you celebrating the same Kelly is dynamic duo celebrating?
29:21 I don't put words in my mouth because there was once a time where internally you're celebrating.
29:25 There was one time throwing shots about people celebrating
29:29 and being insensitive about people losing their jobs.
29:31 And oh, oh, look at the spot where it is.
29:34 This is not this is the opposite situation. I think they didn't lose their jobs.
29:38 The people that lost their jobs. Also, let's just reiterate.
29:40 There was really been no fault of their own is because the company changed direction.
29:43 My saying they lost their job because of no fault their own but then again,
29:47 I don't know did they ever respond to that text you sent them?
29:49 Okay. So there we go. So a little different situation.
29:51 Yeah, no, it is. Well, they lost their job to fault of their own.
29:54 Yeah, there's no debate. I'm saying a situation in the hundred people that lost theirs that you know,
29:58 what's so crazy is I really think they had trump cards to play and they just didn't do it.
30:04 Right. I don't know why they showed up every day and I think they could have I think they could have bodied you if they did it.
30:10 Right. And I think they know I expect I literally I had a show canceled like a week later and they and they didn't say shit.
30:16 Yeah, I would have been like dancing. Are you kidding me? Like all day long.
30:19 It would have happened. Like God. Yes. Like a gift from the God.
30:22 Literally nothing. I heard that. That's just yeah.
30:25 I can't take my stomach like oh fuck. Here's my karma. Here comes and never did you had like a regular job for this?
30:31 Yeah, you know, like sometimes like not every job is for every person like personality wise and like I don't know if it ever would have worked here for them.
30:38 I don't think they were willing to kind of meet us halfway and kind of maybe I feel the other way around by meeting halfway.
30:45 I don't know. I guess I don't know.
30:48 I don't think they were meeting you, but I don't think this office was there was no there was no chance.
30:52 These guys were all telling me they showed up. We would be fine.
30:55 And they were like we showed up and you guys all shit on us. No, no, but they know that's a lie.
30:58 They know they did. They did the reality shows. They know that.
31:09 They never tried to show back up and get involved.
31:11 And even when they did, we were talking to them all the time.
31:13 No, but they were in the office and then you wrote the blog.
31:17 So their point was like when we were here all that shit that they did before that or the reality shows and stuff.
31:23 They did all that before the block that was all done. Well before that's my point.
31:26 So you're saying I don't understand. They were do they were doing a lot of barstool work and still got a blog written about their everyone danced on their grave.
31:33 Their excuse was okay. So what the week that everybody dance on their graves after that they never tried.
31:37 They never came in to defend themselves. They had the bad attitude.
31:39 They wouldn't talk to anybody. Yeah, isolated themselves.
31:42 That is true. But but but their point was everybody saying like, oh, if I can't they gave up.
31:47 They gave up in one minute. They gave up. Everyone hates us.
31:50 Whoops. Can't come in and okay. I'm not the whole office. Kelly wrote a book.
31:53 I'm not the whole why are we took a big kiss on Jack yesterday?
31:56 We can either listen. We can be honest about it or like everybody loved it.
32:01 Everybody was like, yeah, let's go. Everybody loved it for sure.
32:04 But also everybody would have embraced them coming back at me and everybody else.
32:08 They were like, listen, I would have. I was I was already for the for the multiple.
32:11 Kelly was right in her blog. I was like, oh my God, the mean girls.
32:13 Why is it be amazing? They might have liked the drama, but people here do not like those girls.
32:18 They don't. But that wasn't my fault. People didn't like them, though.
32:22 It's not my fault. Sure. I think it's so much. I mean, I listen, I don't think it helped when they were around.
32:26 I don't think it was my fault. I think they do a lot of content that is like men should buy me drinks and blah, blah, blah.
32:33 And a lot of people find them to be like kind of like Country Club ritzy, bitchy girl about that.
32:39 But I think maybe you don't. But I think a lot of people do. I don't know.
32:42 I think that I think a lot of people think that they're like, they think they're better than me is what I think the vibe that they put off when they.
32:48 Yes. Yes, that is true. But that doesn't mean that they came in and everybody was like, boo, fuck these girls.
32:54 Don't look at me. No, they were not. No, they weren't.
32:57 You're just not being honest. Tommy, Tommy, I don't think people people were not to their faces.
33:02 No, we're in. But everybody definitely saw a lot of quote tweets of people like this is the stupidest clip I've ever seen.
33:09 But OK, so we're not coming to work because people say your clips are stupid.
33:12 Those are two different things. That's two. Listen, I'm not not coming to work.
33:15 But people characterizing this is this is just office busting balls.
33:19 I'm telling you right now, because I don't want to use a deluge of tweets from everybody they work with being like, fuck these.
33:24 I don't disagree with that. But then at the same time that that's just how things go.
33:29 People get nobody. But that's not true. Kelly, it's just it's just not like, oh, no, they don't know.
33:33 And they get not like this. And then they came in one other one other one other show at Barstool and they fight back.
33:37 And they one other show of Barstool that got that much hate internally.
33:41 And it's it's only one show. I'm on anything. No, it's the comparison.
33:45 You know, I don't know. No, I think it's just. Well, yes.
33:48 And that does not help your case either. But I think the reason why people bring up Caller Daddy and a lot of people like stop bringing them up,
33:54 they're not in the same stratosphere. They're not in terms of performance.
33:57 They are in terms of people at Barstool were like, fuck these girls. Right.
34:01 And they said, fuck you right back. Right. So why didn't they do the same thing?
34:04 That's a different story. Those are two different people. Alex Cooper is a fucking generational juggernaut.
34:10 And those girls are. They chose they chose instead to say, fuck you, everybody.
34:13 They chose woe is us. We're never coming in again. Everyone hates us.
34:16 We're not going to try to build relationships. We're going to try to figure out why everybody hates us.
34:19 We're not going to maybe be nicer to people actively be like, hey, I'd like to do this content.
34:23 Hey, do you want to be on the podcast? Hey, do you want to do this?
34:25 There are so many ways that you can get yourself here.
34:28 And they didn't try. But again, there they did that in the beginning.
34:32 No, they did it. They did. They did all the shows. Well, I listen.
34:35 They made it up and they said, OK, OK, we'll do everything.
34:38 We'll do everything. And they did. And it was great.
34:40 But then when people weren't actively seeking them out after that shit happened.
34:44 But that's not enough to be like, fuck these people get out of my company.
34:48 I didn't get that vibe, honestly, until they didn't stop until they stopped showing up.
34:52 I don't think it's not. There is not a single person here that went up to their face and talk shit to them.
34:56 I know that for a fact. No, no, that's not what I'm saying.
34:58 There is all behind their backs. Yes. But you think they don't know?
35:01 I mean, I'm back on. Yeah. Like you don't think that they know that the whole company was like, I don't know.
35:06 I was like, fuck you. I'm so different.
35:08 I can't I cannot wrap my head around knowing that people are talking shit about you and not being right here.
35:13 But that is just I think they might have just like you show up.
35:16 Take it to. But they don't. I mean, they're just they're like they're not working here anymore because they're probably like, fuck this.
35:23 Well, then you might not understand that. No. Right. And I don't.
35:25 But then like why? Then why were you here? Like, why was I?
35:28 What were you? I think we are. No, you didn't.
35:31 If you didn't want to do this, like I still there and because of what Dave just said, like that, that replacing replacing girls of that magnitude.
35:39 It's not call her daddy, but it's not easy. So if we're just going to be like, oh, I don't like these people.
35:44 So we're going to fucking torpedo them. This company is not going to be successful.
35:47 I go back to it again. Mac and Kelly, though. Kelly took a big shit on Jack Mack on Twitter last night.
35:52 He's in the office today. I know. I felt that that was, you know,
35:55 the last day, the last day that mean girls as employees here is the first day Kelly ever defends them.
36:02 I literally defended him last night. I said, OK, fine.
36:05 I listened to what was after I murdered someone. I would say, you know,
36:09 I'll go to your feet on the green. Yeah, I can wipe it.
36:13 The blood off. I was never taken. I'm not also not taking the high road right now.
36:17 I'm still talking shit. But yesterday or I listened to what Dave was saying the other day to you about making people look bad, whatever.
36:22 And I'm like, all right, fine. If people want me to defend these bitches, then I will.
36:25 I don't Jack Mac misquoted them and was trying to get people like mad at the clip.
36:30 So I took up for them and made a offhand joke at him.
36:33 A joke he does not like. And I did not know that. So I'm sorry for that.
36:35 Like, I didn't know he wasn't down for some, you know, you get no pussy jokes.
36:38 Like, I didn't think that that was going to be a big thing, but it was. So that's it with that.
36:42 But I did stick up for the girls because they had a clip. It was the most normal clip I've ever seen them put out.
36:46 It was insightful. It was it. They were what they were saying made sense.
36:50 And he tried to paint it as if they didn't. You're a mean girl. Superfan.
36:53 No, I'm not. I mean, but I but again, if they had I was insightful.
37:00 Maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but if they had put out clips like that, then that's fine.
37:03 I always encourage things that I think are good.
37:07 Like, and then the Internet decides what goes viral. No, I know.
37:11 So like, what can you be mad about? But no, no, no. This clip wasn't going viral.
37:15 It was just here, though. Like, you know, the reason I brought the jacket thing is because he came in today.
37:19 He didn't run and hide. I wouldn't borrow yesterday for a second.
37:21 Then he has to. He's going to be insane.
37:24 If Jack didn't show up today, there was no way that was never going to happen.
37:26 Of course. But also, like, to be fair, Kelly Kelly's week one tweet of Jack back way different.
37:31 Do this argument literally hours and hours and hours.
37:35 If you're not willing to admit that there is a different vibe, a different level, I'm not admitting that it just is just saying it's apples and oranges.
37:44 It's it's night and day. Jack Mack is not. It's not a comparison.
37:48 Everybody here likes Jack. He doesn't have an issue with anybody.
37:50 Not the same thing at all. Some reason, whether it's their their PR, their work ethic, their look, their money, their.
37:57 I don't know. Sometimes it's just the fucking Internet decides and people just it's an avalanche and they don't like you.
38:03 And once that happens, it's over. It to me was I don't disagree.
38:08 I think people used my blog as an excuse to pile on.
38:11 Yes. And that is when I reached out to them and said it got out of hand more than I thought.
38:15 Then like Tick-Tock liked the drama. And that is, I think, what upset them, because everything that happens in this in this office in the real world,
38:21 unless you're really plugged in, you don't know what the fuck is going on.
38:23 When it started going crazy on Tick-Tock is when they freaked the fuck out and they didn't understand what's going on.
38:27 Nobody even read my blog. That was just based on a video that Chuck made me do for Maine.
38:32 And so like that made things worse. But to act like six months later,
38:37 people were still like making you feel like you don't belong here is out fucking.
38:43 I mean, yes, it is. Yes, it is.
38:45 Everybody knows this is the most gossipy place in the world.
38:49 You think that the mean girls didn't know that the people here ate and they were hanging out with half the office outside of the office all the time.
38:56 So friends with everyone outside the office, but they just wouldn't come in here.
39:01 That's it. I'm dead. I'm not. Now the office is friends with me.
39:05 And that's that's what we're saying. Yes. They definitely have. They definitely have some friends.
39:09 Yeah, I don't know. I'm not lying. Maybe I'm not.
39:11 Why would I make this up? Because I think you're helping you try to help your argument.
39:15 I'm not trying to help my argument. I have told you that everybody that my blog went out.
39:18 There's probably a couple people here. And then the vast majority are like, fuck the mean girls.
39:23 And if you're not willing to admit that, we shouldn't even have the argument.
39:26 I think maybe people on the production side think fucking mean girls.
39:29 They're the meanest. I think production wise, nobody was mean to their face.
39:33 I swear to God, Kelly, that's not I am not a thing to be like, I only talk about behind your back.
39:38 We're friends. No, ask you. You weren't mean to their face, but they knew everybody behind their back.
39:44 Hated them for six months. They couldn't come in.
39:47 I'm not. You keep saying that's a different thing. They should have come in.
39:51 It's the exact same thing. No, it's not, though, because they got shit on when they came to work.
39:55 I can't hear that. We don't feel comfortable being here.
39:58 Six months later, when no one has ever been mean to them, to their face, no one, even after I wrote that blog,
40:03 you went up to them and said, I think it was a little hard.
40:05 I was laughing at you watch Clem talk. I was expecting people.
40:08 People went up to them and said, Kelly, what you mean? The girls, all the girls texted them.
40:12 Bria, Fran, Bree, Grace, all of them said, hey, I like I understand whatever.
40:17 And they all told me this. Hey, listen, I talked to the girls. I totally understand.
40:20 That's fine. That's why I'm not trying to alienate them from this office.
40:23 Everyone talked to them while they're dead now. Yeah, they're dead bodies.
40:28 So they are. You can't be friend with dead people.
40:31 And that's fine. But I but I refuse to say that I am the reason that they couldn't come to work for six months.
40:36 That's fucking bullshit. You know, that's I don't buy that.
40:38 That is clear. Only the reason they're drastic downturn.
40:42 And yes, there was a lot of other stuff that coincided with Kelly's blog.
40:48 You don't work here. They're still. Yeah, that's 100 percent.
40:52 People couldn't hear that. Dave said, if Kelly doesn't work here, mean girls.
40:55 So if that blog is never written, nothing ever happens. Well, they're dead now.
41:01 So what are we going to do? All right. All right. We're not really going to talk about Shakira, right?
41:06 Yeah, I don't need to talk about that. John's not here. Bring me on.
41:08 Talk about Shakira. Ripped off merch.
