Manchester United fixture rundown with Champions League beginning

00:00 And just on the international break, obviously there's about a month or give or take between the next two.

00:07 There's a lot of fixtures congesting in between those. In terms of United's fixtures, what can you tell us?

00:13 Because it is going to be a very hectic schedule.

00:16 Yeah, so I mean, you're right. We're back into the thick of it with United going weekend, midweek, weekend again for, I think it's four weeks.

00:25 I think you're right, it's about a month anyway.

00:27 So they've got four Premier League fixtures in there, two difficult ones against Brighton and Brentford, really difficult matches.

00:33 And then they also face Palace and Burnley in that period.

00:36 I think United have to minimum be getting nine points from that, if not even more potentially.

00:41 They also need to put in some good performances. I think that's really important as well.

00:46 And realistically, you know, those run of fixtures, you've got no one in Brighton.

00:51 You've got another top five from last season, let's say. So it's not the worst run of fixtures to come back to.

00:58 They also begin their Champions League campaign and they play Bayern Munich away in the first match of the season.

01:03 I mean, that doesn't get much more difficult than that, to be honest.

01:05 And then they play Galatasaray at home. So two really difficult games to begin with.

01:09 I mean, they also have Copenhagen in their group, you would say the weakest team who they don't face in the first two games.

01:14 So, I mean, you would slightly bank on some points further down the line there.

01:17 But yeah, they need to come back and perform well in Europe.

01:21 And then they also face Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup. Again, relatively kind draw.

01:25 You've avoided one of the, I mean, you have got a Premier League side, which is not ideal,

01:28 but it's not one of the top Premier League sides, no offence to Palace.

01:31 So, yeah, I just think that when United come back, they need to come back in a better frame of mind in terms of results,

01:37 but in terms of performances as well and in terms of the team being more cohesive.

01:41 And Aaron and I, the issues we just touched on, you know, different issues in defence, midfield and attack,

01:46 and they really need to address those in my eyes.
