Anunciado como novo reforço do Cruzeiro para a sequência da temporada, Matheus Pereira já treina na Toca da Raposa 2, em Belo Horizonte, desde segunda-feira (24/7). O armador do Al-Hilal, da Arábia Saudita, estava emprestado ao Al Wahda, dos Emirados Árabes, e não atua desde 12 de maio.  “Como todos sabem, eu vim de um período de férias depois de sair dos Emirados (Árabes). Minha condição física, estou aperfeiçoando ela a cada dia. 00:04 I still have some memories of when I used to play a lot on the streets,

00:08 I used to take the cap off my foot,

00:10 I used to play with the pipe.

00:12 I have very little memories from here,

00:14 because I practically have another life abroad, in Europe.

00:18 My relationship with the Cruzeiro started when I was very young,

00:22 my whole family is from Atlético,

00:23 only my uncle was a Cruzeiro fan.

00:25 He invited me to watch some Cruzeiro games,

00:29 and I started to like it.

00:30 At the time there was Alex, Luizão, Sorim,

00:34 there were many players with great potential who joined the club.

00:39 It's a great pleasure for me to be part of this project.

00:43 I believe that everyone has pressure,

00:46 even off the field, outside of the professional life.

00:50 Obviously, Cruzeiro has been coming in a sequence of making few goals.

01:18 but we can't forget about Ronaldo's time.

01:28 but Ronaldo is a guy who has made a great impression on me,

01:33 I watched a lot of his videos, and I still do.

01:37 I don't know if you know him,

01:39 he was a member of the club and he used to celebrate a lot.

01:42 I started to celebrate at a complicated moment,

01:46 and the reason for that celebration is because

01:50 when I score, I forget about all the problems I have,

01:54 and I'm focused on that.

01:56 I want you to understand that I'm not a savior,

01:59 I'm not someone who comes here to solve things,
