00:00 Whenever I am doing a vintage glamour look, I must get ready in my diamonds and my fur.
00:19 So now I'm going to show you how I do my 1950s glamour look.
00:25 The first eyeshadow I am using is Vanilla Sugar all over my lids, it's by Bare Minerals.
00:30 I love the ID collection.
00:32 The next eyeshadow I am using is Peach Puff just in the crease and blending up to my brow
00:37 bone.
00:38 I am then taping up my eyes from the corner to the tip of my eyebrow using the middle
00:46 color from the Felix palette in the Kat Von D Compact, again in the crease and blending
00:52 up to my brow bone.
00:54 I am then taking Soft Focus Explore and creating sort of this cut crease but also really blending
01:01 it up to my brow.
01:03 I'm still getting used to filming makeup on camera so excuse me if you can't see everything
01:07 perfectly but there's my finished base eyeshadow.
01:12 A little bit off camera but I added a brown eyeliner pencil to my crease just to make
01:17 sure it's really dark and blending that out.
01:20 I then take a white eyeliner pencil and put it in the inner corner of my eye blending
01:25 out towards my outer corners.
01:28 I wanted to keep this cut crease a little bit more natural looking and a little bit
01:32 more blended.
01:33 So now I am removing the tape and I just want to clean up that area a little bit.
01:40 I did my eyeliner off camera because it's really hard for me to film and do eyeliner
01:44 at the same time but I just did a very simple thin winged eyeliner.
01:52 So there's the finished look on my eyes.
01:54 I am putting on fake eyelashes for this look.
01:59 I can't remember which eyelashes I'm using, they're nothing special, I think just drugstore
02:02 lashes.
02:03 Definitely with a flared end and not for thickness but for length I believe.
02:15 Then I'm just taking Cactus Flower by NARS and brushing that all on my cheekbones because
02:20 I absolutely love that color.
02:22 It's the perfect color for me.
02:24 As this look was inspired by the Queen of Burlesque herself, Dita Von Teese, did you
02:28 guys know that she actually does all of her own makeup?
02:32 And then I'm taking my Vivid Baked Highlighter.
02:35 This is just, again I bought it in Superdrug, but it's absolutely amazing.
02:38 It works so well.
02:46 It's a very strong highlighter so I have to put it on and then blend it out.
02:50 And then I'm putting just a little bit underneath my brows to illuminate that area a little
02:54 bit more.
02:55 I don't know about you guys but I need my highlighter to make me look wet.
03:00 Off camera I added a glitter onto my eyelid and also did my lips in Ruby Woo by MAC.
03:07 Beauty marks make everyone look more glamorous.
03:09 So I'm faking mine by taking my eyeliner brush and dipping it onto the top of my mascara
03:13 wand and then just dotting that onto my cheekbone until I get the desired size.
03:19 And there you have it, just a quick tutorial of my 1950s Dita Von Teese, Betty Grable,
03:25 Betty Page inspired look.
03:28 I just pinned my hair back with some flowers to complete the look.
03:31 I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
03:33 Let me know in the comments if you liked this look.
