00:00 Hi everyone, thank you for watching.
00:09 I hope everyone who celebrated Christmas had an amazing holiday.
00:14 I'm sorry it's been a little bit since I posted a video.
00:16 I've been with the family all week and just kind of relaxing and been in the holiday spirit.
00:21 But I wanted to get a video up for you guys today.
00:24 I wanted to do something really dramatic and sparkly and fun for New Years.
00:28 I don't think I've ever done anything all black and dramatic like this, so I figured
00:33 why not try it out for New Years.
00:34 I'm not really sure what I have planned for New Years yet.
00:36 I'm probably just going to dinner and then coming back to my house just to hang out and
00:40 relax.
00:41 Nothing crazy.
00:42 I've had my years of all the parties and New York City and clubs and squishing into somewhere
00:48 where you can't even fit.
00:49 So yeah, I'm over that whole scene.
00:51 What are your guys' plans for New Years?
00:52 I would love to hear what you guys are doing.
00:54 Definitely comment below.
00:56 And I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup look.
00:57 It's definitely something different and very dramatic.
01:00 So if you guys want to learn how to get it, please keep watching.
01:03 To start off this look, I'm just moisturizing my skin with my Nerium Day Cream.
01:14 Following that, I'm using my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer.
01:18 And this one is for color correcting.
01:20 And this is just going all over my face.
01:23 For foundation, I'm using by L'Oreal the Magic Nude in Nude Beige.
01:27 When using this foundation, you want to make sure to shake it really well before you apply
01:30 it to your face.
01:35 To fill in my brows, I'm using my brow bar to go as usual.
01:44 And I just very lightly go over my natural brows.
01:53 So today I decided to do a cream contour, so I'm using my Ben Nye palette and I'm taking
01:58 this brown color and I'm applying this all over the contours of my face.
02:11 And I'm using my Nars Concealer in the shade of the shade of the shade.
02:38 Next, I'm taking this foundation brush and I'm just going to be smoothing in all of the
02:48 work I have just done.
02:49 So don't worry, we're not going to leave little lines and circles all over our face.
02:57 For concealer, I'm using one of my favorites, the Laura Mercier in SC3.
03:01 And this is just going to go underneath my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, and in between
03:05 my eyebrows, also my chin.
03:07 Yeah, just basically everywhere you want to highlight your face.
03:27 Next I'm just picking up some loose powder to set my face.
03:35 To start my eyes, I'm using this Milani eyeshadow pen and I'm just going to be coloring in my
03:40 eyelid.
03:41 And this is going to be like a creamy texture, so I'm just basically doing little sloppy
03:46 lines, and then I'm going to take an eyeshadow brush to smooth it in.
04:09 With my blending brush and these two light brown colors, I'm just going to be mixing
04:12 the both of them and applying that right into the crease of my eye.
04:16 And this is going to help give you that faded look later on.
04:19 Picking up this black sparkle color called Eiffel by Sigma and my blending brush, I'm
04:25 then going to start blending in right into my crease and then blending it down onto my
04:29 lid.
04:40 Whenever I'm using really dark colors, I like to use an object with a straight edge.
04:43 That way I can continue blending and make sure it's a perfect straight line.
04:58 I first dip my brush into the Mac Fix Plus to make the brush a little bit wet, and then
05:03 I dip it into that same black sparkly shadow and I'm just applying this all over my entire
05:08 eyelid.
05:14 Eyeliner is optional because it is such a dark look, but I'm just very quickly lining
05:18 my upper lash line with my Milani eyeliner.
05:22 Next comes lashes and mascara.
05:24 I'm using these by MAC and my L'Oreal Telescopic.
05:40 Next I'm taking this dual eyeshadow in Electrified and I'm using the lighter color right on my
05:44 lower lash line to draw a nice sparkly line.
05:56 I'm then using this gold eyeliner for the inside of my eye and I've never used this
06:01 before inside, but I thought it looked really, really cool and I figured why not mix a little
06:05 bit of gold into this look.
06:10 I'm then going to take some black loose glitter along with my Fix Plus and apply this right
06:15 over my eyelid just to give it a really shiny, sparkly finish.
06:29 To line my lips I'm using Neutral by Motives.
06:46 I'm going to be mixing two lipsticks for this look.
06:48 I'm using Myth by MAC and then I'm going to be mixing that with the NYX Orange Soda lipstick
06:54 as well.
07:02 And to top this off I'm just applying a really pretty nude gloss over the entire look.
07:12 For blush I'm using this new one I got from Motives and it's called Caramel and it's a
07:16 mineral blush and this is just going all over my cheeks.
07:36 So this is the final result.
07:38 I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
07:39 I know it's something very dramatic but I think it would be really fun to try out and
07:43 for those of you who are like "all black will not look good on me" try it out because you
07:47 may be surprised.
07:48 The key to this look is you don't want the black to go too far up.
07:52 You want to keep the really dark black on your lids and then have it fade to like almost
07:56 a grey as it gets closer to your eyebrows.
07:58 So I hope you guys enjoyed this video and learned something new and I hope you all have
08:02 an amazing, safe, healthy, happy new year and I'm going to try to get one more New Year's
08:07 look up before Tuesday so if you guys want to see something please leave feedback below.
08:11 Let me know what you guys want to see and make sure to thumbs up this video if you guys
08:14 want more New Year's looks.
08:16 I love you guys so much and I will see you guys next time!
08:19 The work I have just done so don't worry we're not going to leave little lines and circles
08:24 all over our face.
08:29 For concealer I'm using one of my favorites, the Laura Mercier in SC3 and this is just
08:33 going to go underneath my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, and in between my eyebrows, also
08:38 my chin, and yeah just basically everywhere you want to highlight your face.
09:00 Next I'm just picking up some loose powder to set my face.
09:07 To start my eyes I'm using this Milani eyeshadow pen and I'm just going to be coloring in my
09:12 eyelid and this is going to be like a creamy texture so I'm just basically doing little
09:17 sloppy lines and then I'm going to take a eyeshadow brush to smooth it in.
09:41 With my blending brush and these two light brown colors I'm just going to be mixing the
09:44 both of them and applying that right into the crease of my eye and this is going to
09:48 help give you that fade.
09:57 To line my lips I'm using Neutral by Motives.
10:14 I'm going to be mixing two lipsticks for this look.
10:16 I'm using Myth by MAC and then I'm going to be mixing that with the NYX Orange Soda lipstick
10:22 as well.
10:30 And to top this off I'm just applying a really pretty nude gloss over the entire look.
10:40 For blush I'm using this new one I got from Motives and it's called Caramel and it's a
10:44 mineral blush and this is just going all over my cheeks.
11:04 So this is the final result.
11:06 I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
11:07 I know it's something very dramatic but I think it would be really fun to try out and
11:11 for those of you who are like "all black will not look good on me" try it out because you
11:15 may be surprised.
11:16 The key to this look is you don't want the black to go too far over the center of your
11:20 face.
11:21 And I just very lightly go over my natural brows.
11:29 So today I decided to do a cream contour so I'm using my Ben Nye palette and I'm taking
11:34 this brown color and I'm applying this all over the contours of my face.
11:50 Next I'm going to take a brown eyeshadow and I'm applying this to my crease.
12:20 Next I'm taking this foundation brush and I'm just going to be smoothing in all of the

12:25 So don't worry we're not going to leave little lines and circles all over our face.
12:33 For concealer I'm using one of my favorites, the Laura Mercier in SC3 and this is just
12:38 going to go underneath my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, and in between my eyebrows, also
12:42 my chin, and yeah just basically everywhere you want to highlight your face.
