00:02 Hey guys, Jocelyn here with bootcampbeauty.com
00:23 and for this week's video,
00:24 I'm gonna be doing an eye makeup tutorial.
00:26 So for this look, I'm gonna be using some maroon shades,
00:30 also with a hint of gold.
00:32 And I think this color is just such a beautiful color.
00:35 You can use it to create a smoky eye
00:38 or also just a beautiful eye makeup look.
00:41 Now, I think this color is so beautiful,
00:43 specifically on brown eyes,
00:44 but it does look beautiful on other eye colors as well.
00:48 But yeah, if you wanna learn how to achieve this look,
00:51 then just keep on watching.
00:53 All right, let's get started.
00:54 So as always, we're gonna start by priming our eyelid
00:57 and here I'm gonna be using my favorite eyeshadow primer.
01:00 It's from Sigma in the color Bare Persuade.
01:03 All right, here using Sigma's E40 fluffy blending brush,
01:09 I'm gonna start here by adding a little bit of Max Saddle,
01:13 which is a matte brown to the crease.
01:15 This is gonna be used as a transition shade
01:17 to really help blend those darker colors
01:19 that we're gonna be using in this smoky eye tutorial look.
01:23 (upbeat music)
01:25 Next, with my Sigma E58 brush,
01:32 I'm gonna be using Makeup Geek's eyeshadow
01:35 in the color Bitten,
01:36 which is just a really beautiful dark matte maroon shade.
01:41 And we're gonna be applying this all over the lid,
01:45 just right up until you hit that crease.
01:49 Now using my Sigma E25 blending brush
01:53 and both Makeup Geek eyeshadow colors
01:56 in the color Bitten and Coco Bear,
01:59 I'm gonna mix both of those.
02:00 And what I'm doing here is basically
02:02 I'm adding it to the outer crease
02:05 and I'm gonna be doing it in kind of like a padding motion
02:08 to really help prevent any fallout
02:10 and also just to focus on that outer corner
02:13 to really kind of deepen up that smoky look.
02:17 All right, now going back in with my Sigma E45 brush,
02:21 which is just like a smaller blending brush
02:22 and allows you to get in smaller places
02:25 and get the color right in the right position that you want.
02:28 Here I'm going back in with that color Bitten
02:30 and I'm just really deepening up that crease
02:32 and that outer V.
02:34 Now using my Sigma E58 brush,
02:39 I'm gonna be using some MAC Fix Plus spray
02:42 and I'm gonna spray this onto the brush
02:46 and it's gonna wet the brush
02:47 and it's gonna allow me to pick up color
02:49 and make it more vibrant.
02:51 So here I'm using my Galaxy Chic palette
02:54 using the color Sun
02:56 and I'm going to apply this to the center of the lid
03:00 and it really kind of brings out that gold color.
03:03 So by wetting it, it really just brightens it up a lot more.
03:08 And so you just wanna add this to the center of the eyelid.
03:11 (soft music)
03:14 Now going back to that Galaxy Chic palette
03:21 and that color Aphrodite,
03:23 I'm gonna go back in with my E45 brush
03:25 and I'm just gonna really deepen up the V, the outer V
03:28 and I'm going back here and adding some more gold
03:31 to the center of the lid.
03:32 Going back in with my Sigma E40 brush,
03:35 I'm not gonna add any more product,
03:36 I'm just gonna go back in
03:38 and blend everything all together in the crease.
03:41 Next, I'm gonna be using the Balms Schwing Eyeliner,
03:44 liquid eyeliner, which is just a beautiful matte black
03:48 liquid eyeliner and I'm gonna create
03:51 just a winged eyeliner look
03:53 and I'm gonna extend it out a little bit more
03:55 just to kind of elongate the eye
03:57 and to help make my eyes appear a little bit larger
04:01 and bigger than they are.
04:02 And of course, I'm gonna be adding some Lily Ghalichi
04:06 eyelashes, false eyelashes in the style Cairo.
04:09 I think they just look so beautiful,
04:10 they complete the whole look.
04:12 Using my Sigma E30 pencil brush,
04:15 I'm gonna pick up some more of that Makeup Geek eyeshadow
04:18 in the color Bitten and I'm gonna really focus
04:21 on smoking out that lower lash line
04:24 and I'm just gonna do it just from the outer edge
04:27 of the eye to the center.
04:29 Here, using Tarte's eye pencil in the color black,
04:33 I'm going to basically just line my lower waterline.
04:38 All right, here using my Sigma E46 brush
04:41 and the MAC eyeshadow in the color Nylon,
04:44 which is just a beautiful highlight color,
04:46 it's like a champagne-y, shimmery color,
04:48 we're gonna use this as our inner corner highlighter
04:53 and you're just gonna add this to the inner corner
04:55 and it's gonna really help just brighten up your eyes.
04:58 All right, here I'm gonna pick up some of that color Sun
05:03 from the Galaxy Chic palette and I'm gonna add this
05:06 to the inner corner of the lower lash line.
05:10 First, we line the outer corner with black
05:12 and just the rest of it, we're gonna highlight it
05:15 with that color Sun.
05:17 And lastly, you don't wanna forget to add some mascara
05:20 to your lower lashes.
05:22 Here, I'm using my favorite mascara,
05:23 which is the Clinique bottom lash mascara
05:25 in the color black.
05:27 All right, and we're all done and here is the finished look.
