00:00 my absolutely favourite must-have eyeshadow brushes.
00:05 I have hundreds of brushes,
00:08 but lately I've noticed that there is just a few
00:13 that I really need,
00:16 ones that I reach for every single day.
00:20 And forgive me if not all of them look very white,
00:25 especially the ones with white hair,
00:27 because I use them so much,
00:30 I have to spot clean them with some alcohol,
00:33 so that doesn't clean them properly,
00:36 but it gets rid of all the mark.
00:38 So to be honest, you probably need just eight brushes,
00:41 eight to 10 brushes.
00:43 But I have double of some,
00:45 because they are from different companies,
00:49 so you can choose.
00:50 Obviously, I have Sigma brushes,
00:54 and if you want to get any of the Sigma brushes,
00:57 if you go to my description box,
00:59 I am affiliated with Sigma,
01:01 so I have a link in there,
01:03 and you get 10% off with the code in there.
01:09 But I also have other alternatives
01:12 that I am not affiliated with.
01:14 So let me start with,
01:17 you will always need all-over eyeshadow brush.
01:23 And you don't want it to be go too small,
01:26 especially if you have hooded eyes.
01:27 You know, we try to find brushes that are a bit smaller,
01:32 because obviously we have to work with more precision.
01:37 So for all-over the lid, I have two options.
01:40 I have the Sigma E55,
01:44 and it's just a paddle brush,
01:46 and I use this to pack on colour,
01:49 you know, like the light colour on my mobile lid.
01:52 Alternative is MAC 239.
01:55 That's MAC 239.
01:59 This one is a bit thinner and a bit smaller,
02:01 so you could have these two,
02:04 because as you can see,
02:05 the Sigma is a bit fatter and a bit thicker.
02:08 So if you've got very small lid,
02:11 then probably MAC 239 would be better.
02:14 Then we need something for our crease.
02:20 And I use two different types.
02:22 If I want my crease very precise,
02:25 then I use Sigma E45.
02:28 And you know, this is my favourite, favourite brush.
02:33 I have probably three of those.
02:35 So this one is for like more precise crease,
02:42 because it's a bit pointy.
02:44 Alternative, which is very similar,
02:47 is the Zoeva Luxe Petite Crease,
02:50 which is very, very similar.
02:54 And I have a couple of those as well.
02:56 I like them equally well.
02:58 As you can see, they're just different colours,
03:01 but the shape is very similar.
03:03 And also, I like doing with this,
03:07 apart from doing the precise crease,
03:09 when I do the crease,
03:11 then I like to darken this corner with it as well.
03:16 If I want my crease to be a bit more diffused,
03:20 as in not so precise,
03:22 I will use Sigma E25.
03:26 And as you can see, this is a bit
03:28 more flat on the side and tapered.
03:35 So if I want to have my crease a bit more diffused,
03:40 you know, a bit more blended,
03:43 then I will use that one.
03:46 Then alternative is MAC 217.
03:49 And as you can see, they are both pretty similar.
03:53 MAC might be a bit slimmer,
03:55 but they do the job exactly the same.
03:58 Then you need a blender brush.
04:04 And I love blending with Sigma E35.
04:08 So as you can see, it's a bit more fluffy.
04:12 And when you've done your crease and you want to blend,
04:16 this is absolutely fabulous.
04:18 The alternative, which I love as well,
04:21 this is a bit more tapered,
04:23 but it's still very soft and fluffy.
04:25 You want something soft, is the Zoeva Crease.
04:29 And if you compare these two,
04:32 as you can see, they're sort of the same size.
04:36 This one is a bit more fluffy at the top,
04:38 but they both do a very good job.
04:41 Now, for very precise crease,
04:46 sometimes if you even want to do a cut crease,
04:49 I really like the Sigma E36.
04:54 And they say it's a blending brush,
04:57 but as you can see, the shape is so nice
05:02 to just get in right in your crease
05:07 and blend that crease here.
05:11 So I love this one.
05:12 I don't have alternative for that one.
05:14 I only have the Sigma E36.
05:16 Now, for smudging your lower lash line,
05:22 you need a pencil brush.
05:24 And I have here MAC 219, and I also have Sigma E30,
05:30 but somehow I didn't bring it here.
05:32 So yeah, Sigma E30 or MAC 219.
05:35 So as you can see, that's why it's called pencil brush.
05:37 It looks a bit like a pencil.
05:40 And this is absolutely brilliant
05:42 for smudging your lower lash line.
05:45 If you want to smudge, you know,
05:47 applying an eyeshadow on your lower lash line.
05:52 If you want something smaller, I really like this.
05:58 So this is tiny pencil brush.
06:00 And this one, I don't have any other one.
06:03 I just have a couple of these.
06:04 This one's from Royal and Langnickel Silk Pro,
06:07 and it's called Mini Smudge.
06:09 I will put the names of all the brushes as we go along,
06:15 so you can see.
06:16 Now, more to detailing brushes.
06:21 I like for these, the Real Techniques,
06:24 and I have couple of brushes here.
06:26 The first one is shading brush, and I love this one.
06:30 I use it a lot.
06:32 So what I use this one for,
06:33 you can use it for all sorts of stuff,
06:35 but I like to use this one in my outer V,
06:39 when I'm packing the colour on here.
06:42 So I would pack colour with this brush
06:45 and then blend it with my blender.
06:48 So this one, I have probably four of these.
06:51 I use quite a lot.
06:53 And then the little Real Techniques,
06:55 is that called detailing brush?
06:58 Detailer brush.
06:59 This one is really nice.
07:01 It's synthetic, so you could use it as well
07:03 with cream eyeshadows.
07:05 This one is very nice to work here on,
07:07 in your corner, if you want.
07:09 Anything that you need precise application with.
07:12 I really like that.
07:13 Then couple of angled brushes.
07:18 And these I use for eyebrows sometimes,
07:22 and I also use them for my eyeliner.
07:28 So the first one is MAC 263.
07:32 I really like using this one for my brows with powder,
07:35 but you can equally use it with, for,
07:39 for liner.
07:44 And the alternative is Zoeva Winged Liner Brush.
07:49 And I use it for liner or sometimes for my brows.
07:52 So it really doesn't matter.
07:54 Obviously you use different products for both.
07:56 But if you see, they are very similar,
07:59 almost identical.
08:02 And Zoeva is so much more affordable,
08:04 and I think they also ship worldwide.
08:07 So these were my must-have brushes.
08:12 If someone said, "I have to take most of your brushes away,
08:16 "and you can only choose 10,"
08:17 these ones would be the ones that I would have chosen.
08:21 Because I've noticed that for the last few months,
08:26 you know when you start buying lots of brushes,
08:29 and I have hundreds, honestly,
08:32 it's actually pain in the butt now,
08:34 because when it comes to washing them,
08:36 oh, it's a nightmare.
08:38 It takes me half a day.
08:40 And when you have so many, you keep pulling them out,
08:46 but in the end, you sort of filter through them,
08:50 and you know which ones you're using the most.
08:52 And these are the ones that I use every single day.
08:56 I hope you found that helpful.
08:57 Thank you very much for watching,
08:59 and I'll see you soon.
