One of the campaign promises of then presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. if elected was that he would bring down the price of rice to P20 a kilo and even appointed himself Agriculture secretary to ensure that and the country's food security Close to a year into the Marcos presidency, that promise and food security are in jeopardy.
