Japan monitoring talks of intervention in energy market

The debate over federal government intervention in the energy market continues although there's little detail as to the shape and method of such measures. Japan is one of the biggest consumers of Australian gas and could feel the impact of any intervention. Afternoon briefing host Matthew Doran sat down with Japan’s ambassador to Australia Yamagami Shingo and began by asking if Mr Shingo was concerned about rising gas prices impacting the Japanese market.
