On April 29th, renowned chef Angelo Sosa opened Tía Carmen. The new restaurant pays homage to chef Sosa’s Aunt (Tía) Carmen and celebrates the local landscape, farmers, and community of the Southwest reflecting a mix of tradition and modernity. The menu is divided in sections including light + fresh, masa + maize, smoke + charcoal + wood and grains + greens, all showcasing flavors imbued from a wood-fired grill and American Indian and heirloom food products. Tía Carmen will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Learn more at www.tiacarmendesertridge.com.
