Coco Ichibanya, a popular Japanese curry restaurant chain, has opened its first store in India. In order to fit in with Indian tastes and religious practices, the company has modified its menu to sell chicken, seafood and vegetable curries with Japanese sticky rice. It plans to expand to 30 outlets across the world’s second-most populous country over the next decade.
