Reaction: Patriots Cut WR Mohamed Sanu | Patriots Press Pass

The New England Patriots decided to release veteran wide receiver, Mohamed Sanu, on Wednesday night. Sanu was expected to be the No. 2 or 3 wideout on the roster this season, but training camp exposed his inability to create separation and lack of burst post-surgery. The move comes three days ahead of the 53-man roster deadline, giving the Patriots a few days to evaluate what they now have at that position.

Sierra Goodwill and Evan Lazar discuss whether or not this just frees up a spot for a wide receiver that was on the bubble for the Patriots or if the team should add a veteran WR, since they have over $35 million in cap space.
