Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said the polygraph test conducted on Muhammed Yusoff Rawther cannot be used as evidence in court.
Instead, the test was to determine his credibility on his claims of being sexually assaulted by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Abdul Hamid added that the police have not obtained the results of the test yet but said that the investigation is ongoing.
Asked whether Anwar's whereabouts at the time he allegedly assaulted Yusoff have been established, the IGP said he believed it had.
