IMJIN WAR Ep. 7 - Battle for the Yellow Sea

The Japanese navy is now on high alert after Yi Sun-sin destroyed more than 100 of their ships in June and July 1592. Hideyoshi’s top naval commanders are on their way back in Busan and are about to go into action to destroy the Korean navy once and for all. This has to be done so that a supply route can be opened through the Yellow Sea to reinforce contingents in the north for the continuing push into China. But Yi Sun-sin isn’t done. He has added one or two more kobukseon (turtle ships) to his panokseon fleet, making it even stronger. And he has a new tactic: the crane wing formation. The Battle of Hansan Island (the Imjin War’s Battle of Midway!) is about to begin.
