This piece is based on a Mongol children’s song from the Horqin Plains, which utilizes a question and answer format to portray each of the twelve zodiac animals. But through the adaptation of a German composer for guitar, the once playful and childish tone of the song is replaced by a layer of fantasy with a subtle sense of loneliness. The unrestrained dialogue between classical guitar and Steel String Guitar invoke images of the endless Mongol highlands, the winds never resting even in the deep of night.

原曲是一支传唱于科尔沁草原的蒙古族儿歌，以问答形式惟妙惟肖地勾勒出十二生肖中各个动物的形象。然而经由德国吉他演奏家的改编和重新演绎，原本妙趣横生的欢洽气氛被一层淡淡的略带寂寥的迷幻色彩所替代。在古典吉他与钢弦吉他那自由随性的合奏中，仿佛重温了大草原那星辰耀熠，风声辽远苍茫的静谧夜晚。
