The New England Patriots 2020 NFL Draft did not go the way many people predicted; no quarterback or wide receiver was selected. On top of that, the Patriots used their first pick on a Division II safety out of Lenoir-Rhyne that not many people had heard of (Kyle Dugger). Bill Belichick did please the masses by drafted a pair of tight ends, although they were not ranked the highest among the available players in that position group.
