Learn how to make Chicken Korma at home with Chef Seema Gadh on Swaad Anusaar.

Chicken Korma is a Mughlai Style chicken gravy recipe. This chicken tastes delicious when pared with naan. Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.

Ingredients:
Ghee
4 Onions, sliced
1/2 tsp Salt
2-3 tbsp Curd
Ghee
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1 tbsp Cumin seed powder
Turmeric powder
3 tbsp Coriander powder
3 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
700 gms Chicken
1 cup Curd
4-5 Green Cardamom, crushed
1 Black Pepper, crushed
4-5 Cloves
Cinnamon stick
Coriander leaves, chopped
Ginger, juliennes
1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
Mace
Garam Masala
10-12 Cashew paste
Coriander leaves

Method of preparation:
Heat ghee in a vessel, add onion, salt, fry t until it turns golden brown.
Switch off the flame, let the onions cool, add it into the mixer with curd and then grind it into paste.
Heat ghee in a vessel, add onion paste, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seed powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, saute them well.
Add chicken and mix it well.
Add curd, green cardamom, black pepper, cloves and mix well.
Add cinnamon, coriander leaves and mix well.
Close the lid and cook it on low flame for 10 mins.
Add ginger, nutmeg, mace, garam masala and mix them well.
Add cashew paste and coriander leaves, give it a final mix and our Chicken Korma is ready to serve.
