Learn how to make Restaurant Style Chicken Rara at home with chef Smita Deo on Get Curried.

Rara Chicken is a juicy Indian Chicken recipe. This chicken gravy tastes best when paired with parotha or rice. Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.


Ingredients:
3 tbsp Ghee
2 Bay leaves
3/4 kg/ 750 gms Chicken
500 gms Chicken Minced
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Garlic paste
4 Onions, chopped
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala powder
2 Tomatoes, chopped
1 tbsp Coriander seed powder
1 cup Curd, beaten
Salt

Method of preparation:
Heat ghee in a wok, add bay leaves, chicken and saute it for 4-5 minutes.
Add chicken mince and fry it for 5 minutes.
Add ginger paste, garlic paste, saute it for 2-3 minutes.
Add onions and sauteit well for another 5 minutes.
Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, saute it for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes and fry it for 5 minutes.
Add coriander powder, mix well and add curd.
Fry it for 5 minutes, add salt, cover it and cook it on medium flame till the chicken is done.
Our Chicken Rara is ready to serve.
