Learn how to make Plum Cake at home with Chef Bhumika Bhurani on Rajshri Food.

Christmas is around the corner and one cannot miss making these traditional plum cake. Chef Bhumika Bhurani teaches you how to make a non-alcoholic version of this recipe.

Ingredients:

For the soaked dried fruit -
150 gms cranberries
150 gms golden raisins
100 gms black raisins
100 gms dried figs
15 gms lemon peel
25 gms orange peel
500 ml coca cola

For the spice mix -

2-3 cinnamon
20-25 pods cardamom
15-18 black peppercorns
6-10 star amiss
10-15 cloves
2 g netmug
15-20 g dry ginger powder

For the Sponge -

100 g butter
100 g sugar
100 g yoghurt
3 tbsp cocoa powder
85 g flour
2 tsp spice mix
300 g soaked dry fruits

Method :
1. Soak all dried fruits in coca cola for at least 3 hours
2. Mix butter sugar and yoghurt
3. Add flour, cocoa powder and baking powder
4. Mix in soaked fruits and chopped nuts
5. Bake at 160 degrees for 30-40 mins

And from the ingredients please replace
Rum with Coca-Cola
And
Eggs with 100 gm Yogurt
