Ingredients:
3-4 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Butter
1 cup Cashewnut paste
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
Tomato Puree (6 blanched tomatoes)
1 tsp Chilli sauce
1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp Garam Masala powder
1 tsp Kasoori Methi powder
Salt to taste
1 Whole Tandoori Chicken
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Fresh Cream
3 cups Steamed Rice
3 tsp Ghee
1 tsp Kewra Essence
2 tbsp Saffron Milk
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Fried Onion for garnishing
Method of preparation:
Heat oil in a vessel, add butter, cashewnut paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, saute them till the raw smell goes away.
Add red chilli powder, tomato puree, saute it for a minute on high flame.
Add chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, saute it till the oil separates.
Add garam masala powder, kasoori methi powder, salt, chicken and mix well.
Add water, reduce the flame, add fresh cream and mix well.
Top the buttter chicken with steamed rice, ghee, kewra essence and saffron milk
Garnish it with coriander and fried onions.
Cover it and cook it n low flame for 10-15 minutes.
