Air guitar champion Charlotte Clarke

Please note for licencing reasons Charlotte this video uses a different soundtrack to the one which Charlotte is miming too. A mild-mannered primary school teacher revealed her wild side on stage and won the coveted crown of the best in Britain – at AIR GUITAR. Charlotte Clarke donned fishnets and a mesh top to rock out at the annual UK Air Guitar Championships, and walked away with the top prize – despite not being able to play the real instrument. The 29-year-old Reception teacher, who has entered the competition every year since 2007, became the first ever woman to win the coveted title, which also comes with a free trip to the World Air Guitar Championships. Charlotte, from Haggerston, north London, beat stiff competition from around 50 other entrants to walk home with the oversized plectrum plaque, as well as a free top-of-the range air guitar.
She said: “It was brilliant fun.
