Ingredients:-
3 cups of Oats
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 green chillies, slit
½ tsp. Mustard seeds
Few curry leaves
½ tsp. ginger paste
2 tsp. sugar
Juice of half a lemon
2 tbsp oil/ghee
Method:-
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds. Add the chillies and the curry leaves.
- Add the onions and sauté them until soft and translucent.
- Add the ginger paste, sugar, salt, lemon juice and the mix well.
- Add the oats and mix well again.
- Add 1 cup of water and cover and cook for 3-7 minutes till the oats are done.
- Garnish with coriander and serve.
