Valachi / Dalimbi Usal - Traditional Maharashtrian Recipe by Archana - Healthy Sprouts in Marathi
Valachi Usal / Dalimbi Usal is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe in which sprouted beans are cooked in spicy masala. Learn how to cook this easy & quick main course vegetarian dish from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani.
Ingredients:
1 Cup, Sprouted Beans
2 Onions, chopped
1 Tomato, chopped
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Mix Masala
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste
Water
Method:
- In a pan, heat some oil.
- Add cumin seeds, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, onions, tomato, mix masala and salt to taste. Saute everything well.
- Add the sprouted beans and water. Mix well.
- Cover it with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.
-Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati or dal rice.
