Foreign Investment Trophy nominee IVC takes the floor in Europe through Flanders

In 2016, Mohawk Industries (US) announced an investment of EUR 110 million in Flanders. The aim? To strengthen the market position of vinyl flooring frontrunner IVC, which was founded in Flanders in 1997 and acquired by Mohawk in 2015. How? By expanding and modernizing IVC’s production site in Avelgem.

The investment earned the company a nomination for Foreign Investment of the Year at the Foreign Investment Trophy 2017, hosted by Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) on Feb. 21. Jan Vergote, CEO of IVC Group in Avelgem, invited FIT for a company visit to comment on the nomination.
