Opposition LIBRE Party Rejects Talks with Honduran Government

This week the opposition LIBRE party of former president Manuel Zelaya refused the Honduran government's offer to enter into negotiations that could have integrated the opposition into the development of governmental reports on human rights and investment plans. in a press release Tuesday, LIBRE party leaders said they declined to sit down to talks because the government has refused highly anticipated reforms that would make the electoral process more transparent and objective.
