Colombia Renews Calls for Diplomatic Help to Resolve Border Crisis

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos renewed his appeal for diplomatic assistance to resolve the border crisis with Venezuela. In an address to the nation Tuesday night, Santos said he does not feel the OAS's refusal to call an emergency session was a defeat and would press for a meeting of its Permanent Council to deal with the human rights issues involved.
