An email mistakenly sent by a staffer at the Australian immigration department resulted in the disclosure of many world leaders’ personal information, including passport and visa numbers and birth dates.

This was discovered by The Guardian, which, under the freedom of information act, procured internal communications related to the incident.

The gaffe occurred last year before the G20 Leaders Summit held in Australia and involved a number of those scheduled to be in attendance.

Among them were US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
