Tsipras raises key issues in meeting with Merkel

The meeting between Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Germany's Angela Merkel brought very important issues to the discussion table, says teleSUR correspondent Chris Spannos. Tsipras was the first to raise the issue of reparations with Germany for damages done during World War II. He made it clear that Greece will probably run out of money soon and be forced to either stop paying its creditors or proceed with very painful social spending cuts, someting he has made clear he will not do. He would like for the European Central Bank to renew a waiver allowing Greece to use its bonds to pay off debt, and he would like would like for the Eurozone finance ministers to fulfill their pledge made in 2012 to grant additional bailout relief under certain circumstances. Chris Spannos reports from Athens for teleSUR.
