Developing countries fear bias in UN Conference Change proposals

The UN Climate Change Conference is underway in Lima, Peru. Delegates from the G-77 + China group of developing nations fear that the resolutions will be biased in favor of the interests of the industrially advanced countries. They say the wealthier nations should be shouldering greater responsibility given their historic pollution levels and their development at the expense of poorer countries. A report released indicates that to prevent a 2° increase in temperature it will be necessary to decrease emissions by at least 40%. Rael Mora reports from Lima. teleSUR
