China hopes to be home to the “World’s Tallest Building". Currently, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa holds that title, but when completed, a structure which is part of China's ‘Phoenix Towers’ will stand about 500 feet higher than the Burj Khalifa.

As a bonus, the grounds are going to be beautiful. With all the colors and dazzle, the property plans exhibit something along the lines of Disney World.

The largest tower will reportedly stand 3,281 feet tall. The British design firm Chetwoods is designing the towers, while China’s Hua Yan Group is commissioning the project.

The ‘Phoenix Towers’ will be erected in the city of Wuhan and the architects hope it’s eco-friendly functionality will attract tourists.

The project implements a mechanical system that filters the city’s water and air. The towers collect hydrogen, wind and solar power, provide food from a huge vertical garden and harvest rainwater. That green aspect is crucial and may help to solve the city’s pollution problem.

The founder of the design firm, Laurie Chetwood commented “It doesn't just stand there and become an iconic symbol of Wuhan, it has to do a job. We've applied as many environmental ideas as we possibly could to justify the shape and the size of them."

The towers will also be home to numerous restaurants and business. There’s even a chance a theme park will be installed on the property.
