THE INTERVIEW - David Usupashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament

As violence continues in Ukraine between government troops and pro-Russian separatists, former Soviet republics are now looking on with a great deal of unease. This is particularly true of Georgia, which is seeking to become a full member of NATO while implementing closer ties with the European Union.
This June, Tbilisi plans to sign a trade deal with the EU - the same kind of pact whose rejection by Ukraine back in November touched off the biggest East-West crisis since the Cold War.
Annette Young speaks to the chairman of the Georgian Parliament, David Usupashvili.
