The success of the iPhone in China has helped Apple to boost its revenue by almost 5 percent in the first three months of the year. The company’s shares rose by nearly 8 percent in after-hours trading, adding some $35 billion to the value of the company. Facebook, too, saw its revenue soar as more users move to mobile.
