Here it is, the first part of the WayForward Special reviews of one of the best development companies in video gaming.

In this part, we take a look at the first proper game developed by WayForward, Shantae on the Game Boy Color. This game was a cutting edge masterpiece at it's time as it was made with a 32 MegaBit cartridge for an 8 bit handheld, but despite the positive reception, the game didn't fare well in sales due to the Game Boy Color's retirement soon after this was released. Thanks to the Virtual Console on the 3DS, this game is finally available to everyone in the world, but was this worth the long wait and did I think this was an overlooked gem? Find out by watching this review.
