My name is Alan Taylor. Welcome to my official Dailymotion channel showcasing my video work!

I am an IT Service Delivery Analyst and Videographer originally from Portobello, Edinburgh currently based in Fife, Scotland. I'm also a TV/Film production graduate of from Edinburgh Napier University as well as been a student at Jewel and Esk College and Portobello High School.

I enjoy creating transport, gaming, wildlife videos, recordings of live events including music festivals, parades, content featuring Scotland's famous Edinburgh Tattoo, exclusive behind the scenes footage, short films, golf videos and travel vlogs so a real mixture of content with something for everyone.

I first got interested in being a video creator back during media studies at school where I got involved with some journalism joining the school's magazine club. I then joined as a member with the Edinburgh Cine and Video Society which gave me so many amazing opportunities to film a variety of production with a group of friends who I've kept in touch with over the years and collaborated with.

Highlights have included working with the RNLI on a club project, setting up my own self employed videography business where I managed to produce promotional web videos for a number of clients and also learning about digital marketing and then IT.

I'm also a big movie fan, love Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, James Bond and Star Trek to name just a few.

Also a massive fan of Westerns and also Spaghetti Westerns and War Pictures from 60's/70's.

Some other clasics I enjoy is Lucas, Space Camp, Brassed Off, Hocus Pocus, The Parent Trap.

Favourite TV shows include Heartland, Better Call Saul, Silent Witness, Doctor Who.
