Sometimes with our animations we bring on a specialized character animation artist who often sets up a complicated puppet rigging system, or creates many of the images frame by frame. The client had a limited budget so we kept the animation simple even though it is a bit rigid. The ended up loving the idea, so it worked out great. Another great soundtrack from "the Human."
Technical: I had to break apart the logo owl into pieces. Since I had the wings flapping I had to recreate the body behind the wings on a separate layer. Just through a bunch of parenting layers rotations, moving the position, etc I was able to bring the owl to life.
