New Body Parts for humans

The nascent field of regenerative medicine will enable a persons cells to regenerate brain tissue, limb parts, and to build replacement hearts, livers, kidneys and blood supply.
The human fetus has the ability to grow replacement parts in the wound. This ability can be reactivated genetically, and abetted by stem cell technology.
The liver is the only organ that can partially self-regenerate.

Human body parts regeneration

Cant hold a candle to the feats of salamanders, starfish, crawfish or lowly worms. Grow a complete new body from a sliver?
No problem for starfish, the gold standard of replicative wonders. The salamander has the lifetime ability to grow replacement parts.
Techno-savvy and more biologically advanced humans: See the Internet, Tweets, Facebook, 3d movies and a three pound brain; don't have the ability to replace lopped-off parts.
