Show Jumping Series Part 3 - Course Inspection

  • vor 12 Jahren
Competing in an equestrian tournament is usually already hectic enough. The rider and his team have to make sure that rider and horse are ready to go. Most important is that the rider keeps a cool head and is well prepared for the upcoming show. The course inspection is an essential part in order for the horse and the rider to complete the course successfully. Therefore the rider should not be complacent or lax during the course inspection. About 15 minutes prior to the start of the competition, the course is ready for viewing. Usually the riders have no longer than five minutes to study the sequence of jumps and the overall groundlines of the course. In this video, ReitTV.com and trainer Hans Willi Weber show the Aachen festival show course and the pre-competition course inspection.
