As soon as I saw this logo I knew I needed a talented character animator to help with the animation. I invited the talented Derek Stewart to help bring the characters to life. He did a great job with animating both of the characters and that made up the majority of the work for this piece.
Technical: Working with the rendered .mov files with alpha channels I moved the characters into place. The tricky part was expanding out the canvas of the grass/sun landscape for the zoom. Layering them into multiple compositions helped me tie it all together. I used optical flares with a glow on the logo for the flash at the end.
