Virginia Runge Christmas in Heaven with Family!

Virginia (Giny) Esther Runge was born at home in Jasper, Indiana on 11/1/1920 to(Issie) Helen and (Pop) Herschel Johnson. She lived in Petersburg, Indiana until 1936 when her family [now including a sister, Dixie Charlotte (Chy)] moved to Indianapolis. She went skydiving at the ages of 85 and 87 in Tucson, Arizona where both memorable events were televised. She moved to Louisville, Kentucky and lived at the Masonic Home at Adam's Hall. She moved in with daughter, Beverly and went skydiving once more at age 89 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma in 2011 and died at home on Dec. 13th 2011. She wants to be remembered as a good mother and hopes she left her children with "a laugh in our hearts." She leaves behind her five children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was and always will be a remarkable woman. Passed away her Great Grandson Austin James Smith 10/28/2001-9/3/2006 and her Ex husband Eugene(Gene) Braun 3/14/1922-11/19/2009
