The Greedy King_story

Once upon a time, there lived a king in Greece who was very greedy and kept praying for more and more gold. He prayed so much so as to bring God down to earth and God asked the king what wish did he want God to grant him. The king said to God, “May everything I touch turn into gold”.

God granted him the wish and went back to Heaven.
The King rushed to his throne and touched it. It turned into gold. The overjoyed King informed the Queen about this. He then started touching each and every piece of furniture and jumped with joy when everything turned into gold.
