Henri's fears and those of his fellow drivers became reality 2 years later when spectators were killed on the actual Sintra special stage. The Corsica Rally then suffered from the horrors of crashes that killed members of the Lancia team in 1985 and Henri Toivonen himself along with his co-driver in 1986.
Group B rallysport was promptly banned as a result...the Tovoinen film is being compiled as a tribute to the Finn who is undoubtedly a True Legend....
