Le projet Gali IV, a pour but la création du robot qui participera à la coupe de France de robotique qui aura lieu à la Ferté Bernard du 1er au 4 juin. Cette année le robot devra jouer aux échecs, dans une version simplifiée pour robot.
Le robot devra être autonome, et se déplacer dans un environnement « hostile » composé de pions à placer, ainsi que d’obstacles et d’un adversaire à éviter. Ce dossier comprend les différents documents, les schémas et les algorithmes qui composent notre robot.
Nous avons ainsi produit un robot homologable pour cet événement, capable de se déplacer sur la table de jeu en évitant l’adversaire et de marquer des points. Il est capable d’empiler plusieurs pions pour marquer plus de points. Il peut se déplacer rapidement et réagir selon la situation et selon son environnement.

The Gali IV Project aims at the creation of the ECE robot which will participate to the French robot cup. This year, the robot has to play at “chess’up”, a simpler version of the complex game chess.
The robot will move in an environment compose of pawns, obstacles and one challenger. It must be independent during all the match and stop after 90 seconds. These files contain all documents, schematics and sources code that we produce to achieve this project. The final result will be reveal at June the 4th after the French robot cup.
We make a robot that can move and participate to the French robot cup. It can move around the checkerboard and it can earn points. The robot can pile up pawn and earn more points. It is fast, reactive to its environment and totally autonomous.
