SUPER-RUGBY 2011 WEEK 8 http://ruggachick.com/ http://twitter.com/RuggaChick MY MATCH REPORT: We are into Round 8 and the Highlanders kicked off the action when they hosted the Cheetahs. The Cheetahs got off to a WOBBLY Start, their defensive line was a mess, WHICH ALLOWED the Highlanders TO TAKE ADVANTAGE...But the men from Bloem didn’t give up, they scored brilliant long range try. Unfortunately they once again just LAUNCHED THEIR ATTACK too late and the Highlanders ONLY BUT JUST got away with the win... Then in the AMI Stadium things went horribly wrong for the Defending Champs when the Crusaders BROUGHT THEM DOWN TO REALITY...The Bulls seemed to have lost it, their defensive line was shocking, their attitudes were wrong and the Crusaders definitely got to them. Stuff ran with the headline: Charging Crusaders put Bulls to sword. Well the Crusaders seem to be BULLET PROVE, nothing seems to stand in their way and they SETTING THE PACE with when they DISALLOWED THE BULLS A SINGLE POINT! The Brumbies finally got a win when they hosted the Canes. It was a SAKY WIN, with the CANES DOMINATING most of the game, but the Brumbies TOOK CONTROL LATE in the 2nd half and Giteau ADDED THE EXTRA points to clinch the win. According to the Sydney Morning, the Brumbies are hoping to get on a roll. Well that remains to be seen... Then the Tahs thought the Force a Rugby lesson on their home turf... It took the Force 19 min to get on the score board and that was it! The Tahs were the only team who managed to reach the try-line and it took them 66 min to get the bonus point try. It was an error driven display by the Force and their DEFENSIVE LINE has some SERIOUS PROBLEMS. Then in Cape Town the Reds PRODUCED A MAJOR UPSET when they handed the Stormers their 1st DEFEAT of the season. Well the Reds definitely TALKED THE TALK AND WALKED THE WALK when they gave the Stormers a BEATING. POOR DISCIPLINE from the Stormers side, cost them the game and the Cooper gladly accepted the points. Time’s live headlined: Reds punish ...
