SUPER-RUGBY 2011 WEEK 4 http://ruggachick.com/ http://twitter.com/RuggaChick In the Headlines: http://www.canberratimes.com.au My Match Report: The Crusaders are on fire and The Canberra Times believes they are on a Crusade to bring Christchurch a title, well they put up a brilliant performance when they outscored the Brumbies six tries to one in Nelson. The Rebels stepped up to the challenge and kept the Sharks on their toes. The Rebels were dominating play, until the Sharks scored two late tries to snatch the win. The Stormers defended like pro’s and made it impossible for the Highlanders to cross the try-line. The home side remain unbeaten, whilst the Highlanders tasted their 1st defeat of the season. The Hurricanes managed to secure their 1st win of the season against the Chiefs in Wellington. The Chiefs controlled most of the game and the Canes pulled some magic out of the hat, put up a great fight in final 20 minutes of the game and walked away with the win. The Force stepped up to the challenge and seriously proved a point, when they gave the Blues a go in Perth. O’Connor once again ruled the scoreboard for the Force, but ill discipline cost them the game. The Blues took advantage in the final minutes to end the result with a draw. In the Free State things looked very shaky and the scoreboard told the story of nerves!!When the Lions took on the Cheetahs for the final game of the weekend. The Lions have finally done it, they outscored the Cheetahs 2 tries to 1 and ended their 17 match loosing streak in Super Rugby! Tune in for my weekly updates, until next time, Bye Now ;-)
